Yep it time to change the TPS. it the same problem as i encounter. yamaha got it fixed by replaceing the Whole trottler body . BUT the problem still not solve cos i encounter the same problem again. now they told me to Change the TPS and it will sovle the problem. When will that end. seem like they have not solve the problem!!!! are we going to pay and pay for the replacement??? i got my first replacement free. wat about now??? rang them up and was told to pay 100++. i don,t mind paying if it solve. but at less give me an warranty. wat's the difference between the throttler body and the TPS??from wat murphies said..can i assume that the problem lies with the TPS n not the throttler body??wat's the cost of the throttler body n TPS respectively if we r required to paid for it at HL

 

does changing the TPS guarantee a trouble free ride??if so..how come the new fazers are fitted with supposedly faulty TPS when a simple change of TPS could have done the trick??surely something have to be done by HL to correct the fault??do we need to highlight the problem to HL??or they oredi noe but they dun care??

 

lastly..to Pauche..would u have gotten the fazer600 if given the choice again??

if that the case i think i rather go n change first can provide mi with the add of HL n telephone no. ? :sweat:

yo bros...i went to Hl today...and asked them about my problem..they checked the electronics and nothing was wrong..the sound most prob came from the fuel pump...when it;s empty it would make this kind of sound....well..that's what the mechanic who specialises in doing fazers say....and he taught me how to check for TPS problem...as described by MC21...the engine dies off after a long ride...and it's difficult to start after it dies..unless you turn off the ignition and turn it on again..then it will start...think MC21 you kena the TPS problem...better bring back to HL and let them do...if you're still under the warranty period..then it's free....faster go....and if any of our bros here kena this prob after the warranty period...try to make them bear part of the repair cost...should be able to be done....

anyway i cannot find my tank bra...so sad...dun have the half cup one...only got the bagster from motorworld...anyway i saw a fz6s at motorworld today...does it belong to any of the bros here? it's a silver and black one with HB paniers....

lower insurance/road tax

nice design with underseat exhaust & digital metre

aluminium die cast frame for lighter weight

 

disadvantages:

low end poor power

front fork not adjustable

rear suspension only preload, no compression/rebound damping

brake caliper dual piston, poor grip

stock tyres BT020, damm slippery

headlight not wide or shine far enough, esp in msia road w/o lights
