Little choice, brother. WSR have little choice, and little time to venture to Ubi. Would have preferred to purchase at ubi, but having to make the trip down there every month whenever i want to pay my installments.

and no, i didnt buy my bike there. i bought mine at new southern. the low interest rate is poisonous lah.

issit? hw low? did u downpay more than 5k? coz at asphoon u need to down at least 5k den e interest will be 5%. i got mine from bike prod..interest 5%. do attend our lks..crankcase will poison u more..hahaha

southern offers annual interest rates at 5% for second hand, and 4% for first hand. dont really have a good opinion of the admin staff there though, but i tell myself to just deal with it for the next 24 months.

Dunlop only a few model are available in spore. Roadsmart and sportsmart dun think the agent got bring in. I am using Michelin pilot power, cheap and very good in dry and wet.

i find naked model look more fierce leh . somemore nv try riding naked bike before .

Just wondering if your intention is to ride locally? If touring is something you are keen on... you will want to look into the S model.

 

Obviously a naked is nice..... otherwise i wouldn't have bought a Naked previously....

 

Got hooked on touring and now prefer a bike that allows me some comforts...... loved the windblast on the Naked though!!!

Thanks bro for the info. From the look the tyre seems to be quite ok. It is not a new tyre, mine is 2007 model FZ1, I just took over the bike recently; current tyre is "Metzeler M3".

 

I have got few recommendation about new tyre. One of my colleague's cousin also riding Fazer Gen1, he recommended to change to Michelin Pilot Power 2CT, whereas my another friend recommended Michelin Pilot Road or Bridgestone. Any recommendation from you guys about which model of tyre i should get?

Personally, the Pilot Road 2 is a good choice.... pretty good in wet weather..... tyre compound lasts pretty long..... good and economical imho.....

Dunlop hrdbso far no buzz. Even e sportmax oso no impressive remarks. Try pirelli or bridgestone if u itch to try others.

You have to get the additional fairing from Hong Leong. Cost a bomb.

 

For me, asphoon or bike production is fine to get 1st hand.

i heard would cost more than 1k..dats wad i heard..i am able to get full fairing for a gen 1 at 700 including choice of colour..will check if dey can do for gen 2. any1 else interested? can do a MO for this..will try to get pics

Yup only Hong Leong has it. Cost between $1500-$2000 if I remember correctly from what I read somewhere in the thread. Could not remember the exact figure though.
