dun forget to check ur coolant hose also..when i got my bike..e metal pipe corroded alrdy den leak..total replacement cost ..$400+

Made deposit for my givi brackets at southern. Boat will be arriving in 2 months time. Sigh.

Had the dead cylinder live again. Fouled spark plug turns out to be the problem. Sigh.

Toppled the bike due to lack of sleep. Foot cushioned the bike. Realized just how heavy the bike is when i cant remove my pinned foot. Ow. God bless the carpark attendant who went to my rescue.

Went to ubi to have a yamaha mechanic look at the meter. Said the button is spoilt, and its beyond his expertise to repair. Can only replace. Fffuuuuuu...! Went too late, and the parts office is closed. Double fffuuuuuu!!

Went to planet motor to ask the laujiao there if he can fix the meter. He says he can try, but not on a weekend. Bleh.

Called back my salesman to inform him my meter reset button is faulty, and needs replacement. Mechanic tio arrow. Call mechanic, salesman tio arrow. Wah, shitbrix.

Went in again for a proper test run. 110MPH on a straight? That's pathetic. Need to make time for a carburator clean and setting. How much does a k&n reusable filter cost? I am also concerned that it might be all the rust particles choking the fuel filter.

oh no.....dun tell me that u r installing a box????? :nono:

And whats wrong with fixing a box? I cant wait for my brackets to arrive, carrying stuff like a raincoat and a spare helmet, a real pain without a box.

Top box means uncle? Maybe, but at least a practical uncle.

I will do it myself when i am free. Coolant is cheap, dont want them chopping me for something so easy to do. Releasing a hose, flushing with water and filling up with two cans of coolant mix and topping up with water? Easy stuff. I notice that the s1 doesnt have a spare reservoir for coolant?

haha.. thinking of joining the 'uncle' club lah ...wahahaha..'cough! Cough!':faint:

yeah.. mine is uncle bike.. with bicycle net at pillion seat somemore..

Guys what size Givi topbox is enough to fit 1 fullface and a raincoat? Not too big or too small..

e33 would look small on your bike. givi simply e42 would be just nice. cheap too.

e33 i guess..try 1st lor b4 buyin. next size would be e45 alrdy..can fit 2 halfface..2 fullface not dat possible..1fullface definitely possible

unless both helmets shell size are big, putting 2 ff helmets are definitely possible. i fit 2 flip ups last time.. flip up helmets shell size normally bigger than ff..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

He added side fairings and a bottom fairing? To be fair, a vfr has full fairing, so does stx and fjr, etc. They are doing fine.

Bro, u on, ah bay on....then i will on oso la. I'm looking for a reason n justification for putting a box. My colleagues says that a box will ruin it's fierce looks. My past bikes were having box n even my drz had a box n very convenient. But i' getting used to carry my helmet m raincoat in a bag since riding fz. But u n ah dolf will give me a reason enough to put a box...

@Fredd @dolf my prev DRZ having a kappa K35. can fit one FF dirt bike helmet, ok, this one quite big ah....n rain coat, on the bottom part of the box n my rs-taichi mesh armour jacket. they fit nicely n the box quite durable as well n light. not too big, not too small, just the size of a cannonball.....hahaha....but really, the size is just nice for the DRZ. i guess match it to FZ, it will look small but enough to keep everything...

man....u really made me think abt it sia......haiz.......
