there's a exup value in the stock exhaust, that's why you will feel abit sluggish at traffic lights doing stop-go..

 

aftermarket exhaust is considered straight through, smoother airflow, hence you wun feel much of the sluggish performance.

 

Even after i change to LV pipes, i still feel lose out at the traffic lights, any idea how to make the acceleration smooth and pick up faster for FZ6?

aywy hold your calipers. swap out the fork then can use le lor!! hehe. USD forks FTW~~! hehehe.

iirc, the RC51 and F4i's are a direct fit for the viffers but u'll need to get the radial mount adapter.

Bros,don't mind me asking this question although this could have been asked thusand times.Me new to fazer 1. For the bros out there who have tried stock pipe and aftermarket, seriously, what's the difference in performance? my main concern is now, pick up at traffic light i go slow because i feel its a little sluggish. Will aftermarket pipes make a difference?

 

Like what the rest have said, and also to add on.. I would say that the weight difference of stock and aftermarket pipe is HUGE! So maybe that would help a little more

Bro, buy me a coffe/tea and i will disable the exup valve for u. after that u see whether any diffence or not. U will feel the throttle response a bit faster and throttle action not as heavy as before. 10 min job.

Can consider this:-

Change smaller sprocket

Air box mod

Take out silencer- super smooth one

Get PCIII and custom map it

Make the biting point closer to u

try opening the throttle a bit bigger? i using remus pipe, if open throttle wide, bike keep asking to open more....

Low end FZ1 power is a bit sluggish. U need to rev the bugger !!! Power come only above 5k rpm. that is the characteristic of a detuned sportbike engine. u need to constantly rev the engine to get the power.
