Need some pointer abt exhauat for fz1. My frens wanted to change his exhaust bt he could nt hav wat he want. So bike shop suggest him akra or gianelli. Btw he claiming frm insurance so he wanted to kow which gt better r

Exhausts mostly have the same resale value.... which is basically knock off a few hundred bucks.

Power wise, not much diff. U can't tell a few HP apart.

 

So just buy the one that makes your bike looks/sounds nice.

One might say that since Akra is a more 'recognised/desirable' brand, it might be easier to sell on. But maybe there are a lot of Gianelli fans around that I am not aware of...

 

Apart from that, I'd second the comment above - get the one that makes your bike look/sound nice

Afternoon to all Fazers Brother and sister,

 

I am riding a Fazer 600 S2' 07 model, recently i had a frequent encountered with the temperature keep showing "HI" signature. Even i left it for 1 day never even touches it. Of coz, when it is on High temp, our bike is unable to be started. So i waited for quite sometime, on and off the engine again and again. but it still shows HI. guys do you have any encounter with the weird experience i have jus mentioned.?

 

Oh ya.... when i started shaking the bike, twisiting the handlebar then "if i am lucky" it will jus goes back to LO again/.///

 

anyone has any ideas or solution to the problem i have ?

 

pls advise.. fellow riders.

does it happen even after u change coolant?

 

check the coolant pipe to see if its stuck.

Im using V35 on my FZ-1S and no issue with going above 200km/hr. btw I'm selling mine so can take a look in my selling tread. I have 2 different bracket, 1 for Fz-1S and FZ6 S1/S2 which selling it at a very good price.

givi rack with v35 definitely 1 of the most stable side panniers. i dont see how is it unstable. nv went that speed with my panniers before. in fact, nv really used my side panniers before. lol.

I think my brake rotors are worn, after 95000 km. Still thinking of either getting OEM or aftermarket rotors. Any reviews?
