Ram the bugger up to 8k rpm on first gear, close your throttle and open it back up almost instantly.

Viola.

*note*

Please do this on a enclosed circuit aka authorized track.

:)

Woah woah woah, bro now you also play wheelies already ah? hahaha!

look for @dolf or @Bay.. they r the experts in wheelies & stoppies.. lol..

Okay, for anyone that is itching to pop a wheelie or even go on to learn how to maintain a wheelie..

There are 3 different kinds of wheelies: 1) The "use your brute strength to pull up the handlebar" wheelie. 2) Power wheelie. 3) Clutch wheelie.

Number 1 obviously don't apply to big bikes, more for kups.

Power wheelies are for bikes with sufficient power, a 1L bike has no problem on this. It is easier to get than a clutch wheelie BUT it is more dangerous as it requires high RPM & speed to lift the front wheel up. The way to do it is like how sad_how explained. You can even add a little downward push on the handlebar as you close the throttle to aid the wheelie using the bounce effect.

Clutch wheelies are easier to control and maintain BUT you have to be very very very prepared for it as the bike will just throw itself upwards in split second. Can watch youtube videos on how to do it. But my advice is, DON'T practice wheelies & stoppies unless you have spare cash in case of the bike flipping over.

Note: Another tip is to wear safety gears & ensure that your tyres are heated up before attempting to do tricks! Have fun! :thumb:

It's not how fast you ride, but how well you ride.
