Hi maybe you want to consider Toyota Super Long Life Coolant. My Winger fren recommended me and I use on my old FZS 600. Rode to Hat Yai and back, the engine does'nt feel very hot.

hey guys.. i just got my Fz1-s today.. Very excited about the bike n learning how to handle this machine. I upgraded from a s4 spec3 n some people told me fz1 riding style is about the same but my oh my is this bike high, big and heavy.. anyway guys hope u could help me out here as im experiencing some problems.

 

1) When i stop my bike after riding for a few distance, i place it on the side stand and notice droplets of fluid leaking from the bottom of my bike near the side stand. i tried smelling the liquid to see if it was engine oil or coolant but couldnt make up for it. it scares me to see this on the first day of my ride.. pls help me out here guys. ive taken photos of the source i believe the liquid was from. hope the picture is clear.

 

 

2) bike reaches 102 degrees at traffic light while waiting for arrow. Normal?

welcome to the fazer family..

 

for riding style, u jus need to adapt to it and it should be quick.. it's also pretty easy to maneuver around with or without side panniers..

 

1. from your focus point of your pictures, that is the EO drain nut.. does it feels like EO to u? try monitor again & perhaps also take note of the EO level on the other side of your bike, at the EO glass guage there..

 

2. it is perfectly normal for fazer to reach 102°C at traffic lights.. btw, is it a brand new bike?

Firstly thanks for the help... it feels slippery yet watery.. i dunoe how to explain.. but it drips like water.. i mean the rate is kind of fast.. funny thing is when its on main stand, the dripping somehow stops. Is fazer built in such a way that putting the bike on side stand is bad?
