Better change EO regularly and not "ill-treat" your stallion and he will treat you well too.

Mah Motors is the main distributor for Givi boxes. But you can go to LAB, they carry Givi boxes too.

heyy just wondering, how often you guys change your EO and plugs?

 

andd, for givi side panniers, will the brackets fit with aftermarket fenders?

 

i tried H&B, but my fender interfered with the bracket installation, wasted the uncle's time at m-technik the other time : (

 

EO = It is recommended that one change the EO every 3 months or 5,000km, whoever comes first. I tried to "tahan" until six months then change EO, due to no time (due to my part-time studies) to go down to my mechanic to change. For the 5th and the 6th month, I can feel the EO is very "thin" when I am changing my gears. Not healthy for the engine. Better to change every 3 months.

 

Spark plugs = depending on whether you are using normal ones or the better ones (e.g. iridium plugs).

top up of what seahmh had mentioned on the EO, do change if u feel that ur engine is very rough or changing of gears is very difficult..

 

plugs..

normal oem plugs, around 20k km, max 30k km.. do a periodically check at the plugs after 20k km for every 5k km..

iridium plugs, around 40k km, max 50k km.. do a periodically check on them after 30k km for every 5k km..

 

aftermarket fenders on side racks.. should be no problem.. might need minor adjustments.. bike shop can do that..

 

givi boxes.. go to Mah motor to look at the full fleet of catalog..

 

FCW.. we always welcome FCW be it newbie or old bird like seahmh..

Riding a 600 lamb for 2.5 years but mileage clocked is only about 2,500km. When I got my pre-owned 600, the mileage was 54,+++km. I did my servicing last Sat, the mileage stands at 56,917km. hahaha...

Yes, I ever asked LAB before, only sometime late last year or something like that.

 

They brought out the Fazer 6 Gen 1 top-box rear rack to show me and a Givi Maxia E52.

 

Prices are definitely a lot cheaper than Mah Motors.

Then last Sat, after servicing, I took a photo of my meter using my mobile, it is 56,917km. So isn't it only about 2,500km?

I would suggest you go to LAB.

 

Change to better brakes and louder horns first, before touching on "comestics". Better brakes and louder horns save lives.

 

Unless you can afford to change everything all at one go lah.

i also trying to xform mine into a touring friendly big, first going to add a H&B Junior TC55 top box, then add tank bag and bra, then side box.. but first, time to go servicing lol... but no Vitamin M no enough, have to wait for AWS =/
