in my opinion..

 

the rubber there should be the cushioning for your shock when it bottomed out.. should not be a problem unless u keep on bottoming out and spoil the oil seal..

 

have you checked if there's any oil leakage at ur shock? if no then it's glad to hear that..

 

on the oem page, i don't think that is replaceable but you can check with HL, else you would like to replace the whole shock, oem or aftermarket..

hi everyone...today my fz6s stall while on the e'way....it show fault code no 46.i replaced the batt already but still showing same fault code.i can crank the bike but it juz fade off after a second...then i let the bike cool dwn for 30mins n it can be restarted.however it was shortlive as i can only rode for 4km n it dies off showing same fault code.now i cant even start the bike.i haf read the fault code troubleshootin but it juz mentione charging system problem..wat else cud b the problem,rectifier or coil?..thanks?

Fault Code: 46

Diagnostic Code: --

Symptom: Power supply to the FI system is not normal.

Probable cause of malfunction:

Malfunction in "CHARGING SYSTEM".

you would like to check your rectifier first.. then move on to magnetic coil if that doesn't helps..

Hi Fazerians..my slim IU transparent cover just broke. I duno wat happen, the thing just fly off while riding. suspect the cover was crack before it fly away. went to few shops and ask, but is hard to get. even Vicom didn't sell or have a spare for the cover. I'm looking for slim IU cover, if anyone have contacts or info where to get it..pls beep me 8268 2193. thank u in advance.. =)

unfortunately no....i had the battery replaced yesterday.i was able to ride it for abt 30km then it act strangely and followed by wat i described in my earlier post.sumore it stalled at the wdlands chk pt and lucky i was able to start it after a while and rode till it stall again at sle.

Go invest on voltmeter. I think ure coil need to change. Go see ure fav mec.

there are a few options:

 

1. find those bike shops who sells 2nd hand IU.. perhaps they might have spares that the old IU spoiled or some how..

 

2. buy new IU..

 

3. improvise a waterproof cover for ur present IU..

At the bottom of the centre cord is a rubber piece which is broken. Will this affect anything?

btw, there's a way on how to prevent the cover from disappearing again.. try pasting a sticker that connects the cover to the IU, with you are still able to open the cover.. u know what i meant.. hahaha.. with that, ur cover will not disappear again even when the joint are broken..

vicom only has brand new IU, meant for purchase or warranty replacement.. losing of cover is not covered under warranty..

 

so, no deal at vicom lo.. lol..

 

but, there's a way on how to get the whole set replaced.. but spoiling the whole IU lo.. then u get the whole set FOC lo..
