Quite surprising don't really see much talk on MotoGP despite this being a bike forum ah? Haha.

Anyone watching? It's on Fox Sports btw. HD channel also got.

Any fellow Rossi supporters here? =)

Yup, been watching MotoGP on fox as well. Yesterday saw Marquez pull a dangerous overtake maneuver to overtake Lorenzo at the last turn. Looks like it's getting more exciting and drama liao...

Am also a Rossi supporter here. But for some reason, The Doctor doesn't seem as fast now. Not sure if he not used to the bike yet or what, but hope he can still push and compete with the new blood.

Marquez will be someone to watch. Hopefully he will be humble and be a crowd favourite like Rossi. Lorenzo is good, but he too ice-cold and maybe have pride issue. Hahaha... that's why don't really like Lorenzo, despite him being good.

For me, it's Rossi, Marquez, Pedrosa, Crutchlow, then Lorenzo in terms of liking. Ironically, i'm targetting a CBR1000RR instead of the R1 when i get my class 2. LOL!

Since Simonceli passed away , my interest in Motogp has waned. Its not that I liked him so much, its just it was a senseless death. I was reading this Motorcycle magazine whereby he was going tour riding with several people and next issue, he is dead.

Well, MotoGP is still safer than SG roads... =/

Maybe cos i watch TT also, so actually MotoGP still considered safe imo. At least slide out still have chance to live. Simonceli is very unfortunate. I think he tried to push too hard, so when he fell, he fell hard too and then sadly, can't make it le...

There is already MotoGP in Singapore. Everyday I see idiots riding around without mirrors. Probably too stupid to understand how a mirror works.

Back to real MotoGP, the past few seasons is a bore fest. The 1st rider (usually the same Stoner/ Lorenzo/ Pedrosa) always out in front by several seconds after just a few laps. The rest of the race is a struggle to stay awake.

And the CRT teams are there to make up the numbers.

I can't even recall when was the last exciting race.

While it still seems like the case now, but at least there's more riders vying for the front position now. Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Marquez, Rossi, Crutchlow, Bradhl... The exciting part is usually battle for 2nd or 4th... But yeah, it's not really that much exciting as in the past. Now only Yamaha, Honda, and Ducati. If more constructor's come in, then at least it's more interesting. Like Suzuki, Kawasaki, BMW, Aprillia... But MotoGP too costly, which is why they dropped i guess... Only see them in SBK...

IMHO the most exciting era of MotoGP in recent times is probably when Rossi and Gibernau were duking it out every single race for the whole season, with Melandri hot on their heels. Plus the underdogs like Edwards and Nankano regularly caught up to the front pack and put up a great fight. That was back in the 2004-2005 period.

I am into Isle of Man TT also. That is a totally different animal. Riders are happy to finish the race alive. John McGuiness definitely has bigger balls than anyone on the MotoGP grid!

Yep, agreed with the Rossi-Gibernau battle period. But i personally like the Rossi-Biaggi battles as well. The 2 italians fighting all the way, and Biaggi's sour face when he loses to Rossi. LOL!

But i think one of the very best races Rossi had was Catalunya 2009, against Lorenzo. The last 4 laps is pure madness. That's still my favourite battle.
