set ur ignition timing higher (1.4 - 1.6k rpms) or play around with the air screw.

My setting now have to bleep the throttle to start the engine smoothly but idling @ 1000

constantly even on cold/wet days.

I think it is harder to get this idling speed on the mod header but on stock header no probs at all

And watch out if u using the mod header, the water stains can tarnish the header and is hard to remove even if u use stainless steel polish if u dun clean the bike every now and then :giddy:

no, i don't support wp (they r suspiciously under pap payroll).

support those normal with logical sense, take sda for example.

do they make a clown of themselve during election?

anyway, i did support pap two decade ago but last decade they r making too much mistake by new pap generation created gst, coe n erp scheme.

gst - promised of lowering personal tax, now we r paying double tax.

coe - promised to reduce/control number of vehicles on the road, now it is triple more numbers on the road.

erp - road tax for all bikes was $10 two decade ago, now is $80 for 2b bike n multiple more with bigger engine capacities. promised with erp to reduce road tax, pay as u use the road, now u pay road tax n erp another double taxation.

I would have maybe....but my constituency is PAP vs WP

Give any opposition a chance to check the pap. If they don't perform up to expectation, boot them out the next time round. You've got nothing to lose since we are already in this deep sh*t created by the pap.

Went to CKA to service coz i had prob starting the bike. Only got this vibrating sound. Managed to start the bike after a few minutes. but the cranking very weak. When i reach the reservoir junction. the bike died on me. Had to push the freaking bike to the bike shop from there coz its too near to ask for tow.

Problem was with the battery. bloated. All along i thought was some starter or spark plug prob. So changed it.

i also changed my exhaust back to stock one. Noisy sound gone. Feels more stable. Think its quite worth it. Now going to monitor the fuel consumption. Also. the previous exhaust had a broken webbing inside. Its like what the ?? think the job of the exhaust modding was done by the shop at jurong branch (the previous owner mentioned to me before). Cant believe the worksmanship so bad. i'm just glad that i changed it.

Also got a quote for the brake pads. 35 for a pair of sbs. 40-50 for ebc.

Yeah...i like the quite sound of the stock header :cheer:

Welding shops can be located at just about any Industrial estates.

Slaygray, f/c will stabilize at 31-33 km/l on our bikes since my number plate, model and color same as urs....

If the cranking is very weak, usually means either bat, rectifier or starter coil. U should have just push start the bike to confirm if its the spark plug la bro....
