That's a very comprehensive guide.. Thx :thumb: Guez i will just have to keep surveying other shops n try to get the best deal. Really liked this bike's outlook. No dount one of the biggest for 2b in sg. Well other than roadwin, i've also been looking at bajaj. But of course roadwin is top of my list. Will go to other branches to checkout 2nd hand rw if i have the time..

Mior, here's my 2cents worth.

NEVER buy rw unless u r prepared and really want the bike for the bike and not the looks.

1) things to look out for on a RW you can ask uncle soh. Basicly, it's the same thing as any bike out there. But PLS do check the sound of the bike. When u pull the trottle, hear the sound of the bike. is there any "loose screw or nut sound". If there is a strong loud vibrating sound, it means ur header is gone. I didn't check it n now i must pay $150 fer it. othere than that it's the normal check up.

2) yes u can, u can even go to cka and ask them to service a s4.(cause i saw a s4 iin the shop tt time. )

Positive bout RW125. (for a 2b bike)

-Nice looks.

-Fuel Friendly.

-easy maintained.

-Won't reallybe caught for speeding most of the time.(cause u can't go too fast anyway.. *hehe! i like this point most.Save money* ):thumb:

-NO 2t.

-can sleep on it. haha!

- got friendly n helpful teacher here to help us out.

Negative bout RW125

-Heavy compared to most 2b bikes

-Vibrates alot

-Expensive parts

-No resale value.

-if u got big ego as in RACING, than forget it. won't bring u much.

So all in all, think b4 u made a harsh decision.

:sweat

u must see all the following items first bro:

a. the age of the bike.

b. the condition of the bike.

c. the mileage of the bike.

d. the outlook of the bike.

e. the accessories of the bike.

f. etc

Hi guys,

Changed my tires today to a Dunlop 501 set. Cost $220. Front same, rear 130/70 17"

Nice smooth handling compared to stock tires.

However my stock tires lasted close to 1.5 yrs.....dun noe how long this set of tires will last though...

i have a kind of metal plate rattling sound when travelling at certain speed, lets say 40 to 50kph... is it the same kind of sound you're referring to? its quite disturbing actually cos its like the bike is breaking apart...

where does the sound comes from??? xishuo, try pulling ur trottle in neutral gear. n see if the sound is still there, if it is, it's probably ur header, if not it might be other stuff. but ur bike is still new, shldn't have much problem... hope it's still under warranty.:goodluck:

You have underpan right? Try checking if the piece that connects the 2 pieces of part is broken. I had that and it cost a rattling sound at some speeds due to the vibration of the 2 parts. Have since removed my bike's underpan and no such sound.
