Let's play the Headlines game

"Household incomes up; bottom third's wages down"

That's what today's headline says. So hor, what's the difference between income and wages? Poor people one called "wages" ah?

Or is income a state of mind? As in "my income went up but my wages went down."

I decided to see if I could come up with other headlines, you know, just to practise my English power:

"Income gap between rich and poor Singaporeans gets wider"

"The rich and middle-class get richer, the poor get poorer"

"Damn, the poor in Singapore are so screwed now"

"Damn, the poor in Singapore are so screwed now, and wait till they hear about the cost of living increases"

"Poorest 30% of Singaporeans got poorer"

But of course, none of my headlines were as good as the ST one, with that nice "Household incomes up" first line. I felt so up reading it this morning.

Updated: I just realised over at TODAY, the headline was "Poorer S'poreans earned less last year". Wah lau eh, so downer lor. At least the ST one gave a nice mostly-good-news feeling.

Haha....you should hear the one about richard gere and the damn birds from India ...haha........:cheeky:

guys,

my stebel horn went busted or shocked after 1 1/2yr usage.

went to mutafar, car accessories at top floor.

there r more expensive ones, lock in display window.

like hella twin horn ($22/pair) n superhorn ($55/pair).

hanging on rack, there r red/black or silver color hella type R.

brought hella type R horn for S$9.50/pair.

slightly softer but just as loud.

much better than OEM tat goes beep, beep n be......ep.

no 1 cares to look at u, nearly got side-winged by a nissan today.

is the relay that comes along with the horn good?? heard that its better to use the bosch ones...

OIC... thought need to use the relay. BTW, when i bought my bike, previous owner also used stebel horn, but did not use relay... so encountered fuses always blown when horn button pressed.. now just use normal horn, ok already... if you r not using the relay & thinking of selling, do let me know

Alamak Bro, $76 like Ex lah.. Prob could have bargained lower a bit.. How is the feel of the bike after install?

I'm using the S4 twin VTEC Horns for safety.. Had them on since 1st day got my bike.

However, sometimes I feel its not loud enough still.. But lotsa cars get shocked.. Especially idiotic drivers that cut lanes.

Outing not so sure cos I work shift. Prob can decide after you guys put the date, time and place down..

looks like a cheap relay, might as well u go to sim lim tower n buy a good relay.

bosch relay cost S$6.80 n another cheaper version cost S$2.50.

ur fuse blown is not becos of relay but how the horn r connected in series or parallel??

in series means it drawing too much current - 6amp plus 6amp = 12 amp,

too much amp can easily blown fuse.

in parallel means it drawing current at double rate - 6amp n 6amp = 6amp,

drain battery power faster.

a better solution is connect one horn - 6amp.

function of the relay is provide more contacts of devices, eg twin horns.

u add more current drawing device but if u connect wire direct from horns via relay to battery (draw current direct from battery) then it a different story.

Previous owner used only one stebel horn... traced back and it is the original connector from the horn button... so dats y i tot the relays would help. Btw, what kind of relay should i tell the shop at sim lim? Intending to buy the bosch ones...

hy guys

i was told that daelim rw is made in corea.is it thrue ?

or is made in singapore?

what ever , who ever designd it had made a very nice job , i felt in love with it from the first time i saw it.

i ve mod his a little bit his look and made him look more agressive and more streetfighter like,i m looking to post some pics in the future.

after some mods i saw in this site and i upplyed them on my bike he sounds even beutiful and run a litle bit more.

are you all guys on this site all from singapore?

thank god for who ever created this site cause in my contry malta there are not to many rw in the streets and i cant shere any experinces with those guys who have big bikes and look at my baby like he is a small bug and make fun of him.

what ever , i m happy with it and im looking forword to by another one and modify him to the full maybe fit him a big engine.

is it thrue that most of the rw parts are made of honda bikes?:offtopic:
