i tot u frequently visit cka hq@kaki bukit.

i rather they have fewer shops plus more accessories for daelim,

provide better services n charge reasonable prices.

now daelim r so expensives, many will go for others cheaper bikes like bajaj, phantom, kups, scooters, etc.

My work place @ science park so if i got time will go down during lunch... but yesterday went to change front sproket at the Jurong east branch....confirm that the Alexandra branch closed oredi.

My personnal opinion is that there are too many cka's in the west that are close proximity with each other (within 10 mins riding distance of each other)!!

Plus i think that branch overcharge....front sprokets for $20? I remember Roy charging only $15!

hey, compare this, scrammies vibrates alot, so they change to better handle bar to cancell the vibrations. their handle bar clamps look like s4 clamps. ours look like racing kin. can we change our clamps to s4's kind? so we able to change handle bars? i believe our bike is good if the vibrations are out.:thumb:

secondly, is it normal for our bike engine to sound stranious at 90/km? cause wave sounds lesser strainious at 90/km.?o_O

@ what rpm are you at when travelling at 90kph...Usually it will sound strained only after 8500 rpms....anything below is ok.

Prolly u are used to riding at a certain rpm band....

me still using stock. so guess it's still a little strain. i really wan to cancel out the vibes. changing to 15t minimise the vibes?

even though i don't understand his english well, i do get some of the things he tried to say. i believe wad he say is true. brakes don't function quite well to me i feel. luckyly, i don't speed often.

and the revolutions, even friends who tried my bike agrees that rw revols too high much too fast, the speed of the revo doesn't relate well with the speed. like jackal said, maybe rw needs another gear. heard from a friend of mine, his friend add a 6th gear to his bike(kr). is it possible?

STORY: When i entered johore tt day, i met a chinese malaysian riding the RW!:cheeky: sURPRISED, I TALK TO HIM. tHIS IS THE INTERESTING PART. i didn't realise the change in his rw till i came up close. from far i couldn't miss the body of the rw. i went to him and we chatted. before he went off, he pulled his trottle. i realise it's a micron pipe. and when i look at his engine, DAMN i'm surprise!:lovestruck: it's a different engine. here's the climax, ask him and he said it's a 250cc engine from another bike.i ask him how he fitted it, he smiled and went off with great speed. :faint:

now can somebody say something? maye he bought a very old bike and switch the enigine? but is it possible? like different brands fit into daelim. or is it daelim 250cc bike engine that he took. cause what i saw was definetly big!o_O

true...i think everyone has problems with the front brakes....doesn't have good stopping power using stock brake pads....try using sintered pads. performance should be better...rear brakes however are better than the front.

While i do agree that RW needs another gear to have a better ride, feel that it wont be financially feasible with the overall hp it produces. Unlike a phantom 200 which generated > 15 hp, then it is ok.

Regarding engines...in Malaysia and other countries, you can do all sorts of magic to your bike provided u / someone else has the skills. Besides, the rw frame allows a larger engine to be placed in it. I doubt that a 400c can squueze thru though...:sian:

How bout heavier bar end balancers... heard it could help reduce handle bar vibrations...

Hi all , just passed my class 2B and looked through some of the threads here. Initially tot I would be going for a normal phantom 200, but after poring thru the forums, realised 2B has some nice naked bikes also, like pulsar and roadwin.

Went down to CKA@Jurong and they quoted me 7.5k for a new roadwin x5. That is kinda ex, does anyone know of any 2nd hand daelim roadwins for sale, preferably ard 2-4k ? Cos I cant seem to find any in the website.

Any recommendations anyone? or other 2b naked bikes to intro would be welcome also.

Help appreciated.
