1130 is cyclindrical while 2310 is tapered ended (conical type). The 2310 will fit in more snugly than the 1130.

i) Greatly improved acceleration. Hit max speed 110kph on slightly rich settings quickly.

ii) No problems with steep slopes esp on 15/42 sprokets. Better pickup!

iii) Improved FC! Usually will hit redline on fuel gauge when i hit 330 km. Now only 3/4 mark. Bike feels more perky.

iv) Didn't i mention to you all about the sound??!

v) Easier to clean your rear monoshock suspension.

Bo leh....the sound comes from the air being sucked into the carb. While the stock airbox will muffle and quieten the sound, open type air filters are loud....much louder since there's no airbox to begin with.

 

Unlike uncle soh's...i believe his is quiet since he's still using the airbox

hy guys

yesterday i ve modified the carb by mooving clip to 3 rd slot and the air adjustment. it took quait a litle time because when i tryed to start the bike it went at full gas.

what was the reson?

what will be the differance now after that seting?

as i have read in ather texsts when canging air filter box to a highflow filter it beguns to make some noises , the same thig happened to me and i ve returned to the original air box.

for the insurence thing, i can answer!!! went i got my license at 18, i went to NTUC to buy thrid party for rw, it cost 1grand babybeh! but obviously, no sane person would buy hor.. so i went to mitsui. they quote me 600 for 2nd party. hell yeah! i tookit baybeh.

 

hey jack, btw, if i wanna fix the k&n filter, must i buy first then bring to cka is it?

For a long period i've been observed & reading Daelim Roadwin thread here in SBF. It's time for me to register, log-in & join 'ur discussion since I can learn lots of stuff 'bout our proud Daelim Roadwin from you guys.

 

I'm Malaysian (if you guys don't mind.. me; be in SBF). Been riding Daelim Roadwin since past a year. Nothing much modification except for changing wear sprockets with drive chain for the past last 2 days, routing a cool air intake (CAI) and put on a tank protection pad stickers Everything else such as setup & parts is still remain as stock.

 

Hope i'm welcome here & can learn/share some knowledge of Daelim Roadwin.

Emph.. by the way, i've read all of your modification done to your Roadwin previously back. I wish i could modify mine like your's.. Especially regarding the carb tuning & jet needle stuff etc. But when I think back twice, it's good for me to let the setups as stock for a meant time since i'm just only a newbie in engine knowledge and use my bike for commuting vehicle to go work everyday (with pillion).

 

I really admired with your exhaust mod. Last week I managed trying to remove the inner silencer of my bike's end can but unfortunately, I can't pull out the upper cap. It's bcoz the cap was fastened with 2 rivets & 2 screw.. Yes! Screws full of rust. I wonder why they use 2 rivets & 2 screws instead 4 rivets all around for Malaysia's production? I didn't drill the rivet yet but trying to remove the screws first by using screwdriver.. It's pretty hard time for me to take out the screw even I use WD40. Yet the result, I spoilt the screws and my project stops there.

 

I've been thinking along the week.. Is there any other way to pull the screws off.
