transfer fee ? how much will it be ? ..

can check transfer fee from onemotoring web site.

just check using my rw as reference, it's S$103.

u want fairing for naked bike? best get rwR instead.

no power difference w/o the db silencer, just sound better.

it's how u tune your carb n sprocket ratio setup.

u must to be realistic for a 125cc 4-stroke engine,

it can produce 10~11 horsepower, not matter wat u change.

if u want 20 hp buy a 4-stroke 250cc or 2-stroke 150cc.

 

to increase acceleration (pickup), u can change bigger rear sprocket.

eg. stock is 42t, u can try 44t or 45t.

the down side is your top speed is also down from 110 kph to 105 kph.

 

reverse effect if u change front sprocket 14t (stock) to 15t.

acceleration (pickup) will slack but top cruising speed will improve from 110 kph to 120 kph.

I think I might be joinin this daelim family real soon, went to CKa kaki bukit today n made a deposit. Still considerin which bike to get n the staff over there were all frenly n helpful esp Roy. Made a downpaymnt but Roy say that he will check the insurance for me between the bikes n I'll then confirm wif him. (coz my insurance damn high, 20 yr old p-plater) haiz

yeah. ur right. there's no point trying to mod this bike to increase its speed. it's meant for what it already is. a comfortable easy bike. well,what can i expect with my kind of budget and for the looks. i'd definitely pick this bike over any kup and that's probably why i even bought this bike in the first place. the thing in malaysia is, when the traffic light hits green, everyone is like racing off as if in a drag race. i'm always the one left behind:cheeky: that's not a problem though, it's juz that they drive/ride so fast and reckless and makes me frustrated.:sian:

u can't compare to those 2-stroke kups coz they r light n powerful.

best u can do is tune carb richer, burn more fuel for more power.

set jet-needle's eclip at #4 slot (bottom 2nd slot) if u dunno how to do it ask your local mech.

change rear sprocket to 44t, also ask your local mech for it.

after these changes, u can more or less match those kups.

haha thanks bro stsoh, actually deres ppl tellin me dat I won't get used to rw for its speed as I'm sort of used to 2 stroke bike. For ur info I'm ridin a ta150 but sellin off soon, but I'm amazed by the appearance of rw esp the one dat cka kaki bukit has. I really hope dat I will love this rw n enjoy every single of my ride, not to let my inner speed demon take control of me..haha..Btw still have alot to learn from u

first thing to learn is how to change from crusier to semi-sport posture.

cruiser posture is lay-back style, whereas naked bike is semi sport posture.

many riders complain about hand pain/numbness after 10 mins riding.

tat becoz their body posture is wrong, they put their body weight onto their hand as they ride.

when weight is put onto the hand, it depress a nerve in the hand,

cutting off blood supply thus coz hand to be numbness n painful.

in scientific term is called 'carpal tunnel symptom'.

 

the correct posture for semi-sport is not to put body weight onto hand.

lean body forward, lower elbow n push forward like pushing a cart or trolley.

support your body weight by your abodmen muscle n the forward thrust motion holding the handle bar.

 

it may sound complex in words but in practice it's simple.

i remember riding the roadwin for the first time. hands and foot were numb. lol...now i have no such complains anymore.

 

i've just installed a new muffler on bike without a silencer. the exhaust sound is now a lot louder than before. what are the other precautions is should take after installing a muffler without a silencer? a friend of mine says that my engine will now work harder as there is no more restriction in the muffler and i should tune my carb. is this true?

no, not true.

it just tat there is no muffling (no blocking), the sound is louder.

if u alway ram the engine at 10,000 rpm, tat's working hard.

u can tune your carb for more power but remember this too rich doesn't mean better performance.

check your spark plug when tuning carb, make sure it's not sooty.

Seems dat I still have a mountain to climb b4 I can say I know my bike.. Hope to learn more from u bros, btw can u bros give me some advice if I should install a 2 way alarm? I know normally its for those cl 2a or 2 bike but I just wan to keep out of those itchy hands. N u guys think a 1 way alarm will be enuff or get the 2 way alarm is a better choice?

which is better one or two ways alarm?

depends on u how valuable your treasure bike is.

one way means it will sound alarm when bike touch.

two ways means it will sound alarm n alert owner's remote unit if bike is touch.

 

i didn't install any alarm on my rw.

it is always under-cover (out-of-sight, out-of-mind).

unlike yours which is outstanding n beauty.

many ppl will want to touch n remove some parts.

understand y u r so worry about it.

best install two ways alarm system to sound alarm n alert u at the same time.

Once again thanks bro stsoh for ur kind advice. I think I'll heed ur advice to get a two way alarm den, btw when u guys r ridin will u bring along another helmet for pillion? If so, u all just lock it at the side of the seat while riding or?

it's not safe to ride with helmet lock at the side, never ever do tat.

install big top-box to store helmets, raincoat n others things.

or use a net n tie helmet onto pillion seat.
