wat dun u not understand?

speedometer has got two digits readings:

1) odometer (top)

it is not adjustable or digit numbers shown cannot be reset.

it reads accumulate kilometer since the first day bike front wheel roll on the road.

2) trip meter (below)

it can be reset to zero by the side knob.

it will continue to run until it is reset.

the last digit in white indicates 100 m, so it run as in 0.1 km.

erm, i've been wondering..what's the max weight this bike can carry?with the rider and pillion ?

based on the tires tat u r using, usually tires have speed n load indexes to indicates at wat max speed n max load tat it can carry.

this link is how to read marks at your tire wall (side):

http://www.metzelermoto.com/web/products/technology/readingasidewall/default.page

speed index table:

http://www.metzelermoto.com/web/products/technology/maintenance/default1.page

load index table:

http://www.metzelermoto.com/web/products/technology/maintenance/default2.page

i'm using metzeler ME1 (not M1, they'r two difference spec).

it has load capacity index for front is 54 (212 kg) n rear is 69 (325 kg).

load for front r usually not heavy, unless during heavy braking.

max load for rear tire in my case is 325 kg but this is load on rear tire.

to be safe n sure, add front n rear max load n divide by two.

(212 + 325)/2 = 268.5 - 135 (bike weight) = 133.5 kg (safe weight).

max load on rear tire, 325 - 135 = 190 kg (max weight).

important note:

different brand n type tires have different load n speed index.

pls check carefully n compare, tat's why some r more expensive than others.

bro total weight i can carry on this bike is nearly 230kg..

me 145kg, my friend ard 70++

wow, 145 kg......tat's heavy, my advise don't pillion any one.

either slim down or find a tire tat can withstand more load.

forgot one very important factor...bike weights 135kg.

268.5 - 135 = 133.5 kg --> this is the safe weight for rw to transport.

can load up to max (325 - 135) = 190 kg on the rear tire.

at high speed, tire get hotter n highly stressed.

good part is rw can't do high speed travel, max 110 kph.

max speed index 'H' is 210 kph, 'S' is 180 kph, 'P' is 150 kph.

never put on more than max load tat a tire can withstand.

never run faster than max speed tat a tire can withstand.

never pump in more pressure than max cold pressure tat a tire can withstand.

remember this, never do more than maximum on tires for your own n pillion safety.

tank cover is the glossy plastic over the dull plastic tank.

if the cover is crack, u can call cka n ask how much it is.

but if the plastic tank is crack, it will cost much much more than the cover.

to be safe n sure, send it to cka n ask them to check.

alternative, it just the crack cover, u can epoxy patch n repaint.

as for plastic tank, it's hard to find epoxy tat is fuel resistant.
