Can't really remember but i think it's somthing like uncle soh's. Cos he gave me the suggestion about 3 years ago and it works miraculously. :cheeky:

I'll go and check it out after work. :thumb:

alright! no problem...i changed my sprocket according to lostjackal's sprocket setting. (few years ago)he recommended the best sprocket setting was 15/42, which was in the previous pages of this thread. i've been reading from the beginning but i still have alot more to read . this thread has more than 100 pages! haha.

Hi L0sT,

Sad to say, CKA no longer does reloans due to irresponsible rider running from the installments.

Hi Suppose,

I think no need to change oil filter everytime. =) Personnelly, I change oil filter once every 3 eo change. Maybe others will do it more often.

Cheers.

in general n good practice, oil filter is suppose to be change with every oil change.

cost of oil filter is cheaper (S$7.50/pc).

but then we change oil at too early stage @ 2,500~4,000 km.

in this case, it's no problem tat oil filter change with every two oil change.

the reason for this is becoz most oil manufacturers recommends change oil at every 5,000 miles (8,000 km).

if u read those carb tuning articles tat i posted n try to understand.

there r 4 main adjusting points:

1) pilot (air) screw

2) pilot (slow) jet

3) jet-needle size/taper/eclip position

4) main jet

ahh ic..thanks for the info guys..and one more thing..my bike doesn't have the fuel reserve lever..seriously :sian:

Woo, if you're disciplined enough to check your fuel comsumption, then you're still ok. But if you're constantly forgetting your fuel count, then better to get that fuel reserve lever back so you can reach for it even during riding. :)

My personnel best habit is to constantly resetting the meter everytime i top up my fuel tank. At least I know I wouldn't wanna hit more than 330km for the tank just to play safe. :thumb:

i've been riding without noticing the fuel needle since i bought the bike:cheeky: was riding my friend's roadwin the other day halfway and we went outta gas and stopped by the roadside. turned the fuel reserve lever all the way down anti clockwise and woala! we had fuel to last us to the nearest petrol station. so i guess that thingy is really important:thumb:

Hey i would like to ask since im new to RW. How much u guys pump in to the tank normally? and how many kilometer u can last for the whole tank excluding the reserved? ok plus how far can you go with the reserved?

Another questions is, i found out that our RW 125 can mod to 200cc... i knew this can be done in CKA but if im living in Malaysia, Perak .. anyone got a better recommendation of where to get it done? im willing even to travel to KL for this mod!! please advise!!!!

Thank you

hi Robirdz, welcome.

rw full tank is 16 litres include 1.1 litre reserve.

tat means u can run 15 litres b4 switch to reserve.

how u ride your bike will affect fc (fuel consumption).

if u travel below 60 kph constantly, fc avg 30~33 km/l.

if u r heavy throttling going 100~110 kph, fc avg 26~27 km/l.

a full tank can travel >400 km, all depends on your twist.

guy, just now i warm up my bike.. then i was checking the lights etc.... i found out that theres air coming out from my engine.. its at the sparkplug area.... i have no idea if its like that.. or sumting is leaking.... and my rpm not working... haiz.....

Posted

is your rw with egr unit (black metal tube)?

air leak maybe from there, just cut a gasket n replace it.

or just loosen bolts.

egr= exhaust gas recirculation.

rpm gauge is a electronic device, replace or ignore it.

life span for electronic devices is around 3~5 years under hot sun n cold night plus wet days.
