ok just a quick short update abt my stalling prob.went to hq there on sat n one of the mechs said its becuz of the tubing,the flow from tank to engine say petrol got no flow tats y trottle abit only it died. so he adjusted abit by open up abit more.haha well after some time it happen again after riding far.lol.so yenyu i gotta agree with u that muz generously trotle big time.

haha... I hope it did help sat wat time u go? I also when there for afew second around int the morning liddat... Rw engine is quite weak, so trottle power isnt that strong, so just trottle more at the start to prevent stalling. Haha...

i put twice alr. twice i place the switch at the battery there.

i went in the afternn..quite alot of bikes being serviced there..my frend say the trottle heavy like the gilera.. problem happen again while riding to work..i highly suspect fuel contamination cuz b4 i pump full tank there's no dying watsoever.

Wah! Fuel contamination is a big problem wor... Need to send to cka to let them do for u.. Must drain all the fuel out then clean and dry the tank.. I kanna before, but mine is got water inside tank lol... I believe cka will do it for free cos they are so friendly and no. 1 in service! Hahaha!

and i just fitted a kappa rack . damn pissed with them, they said 45, i call again they say $40+ than when i go they say $48. wtf?

than $48 , they anyhow bend etc etc, and use old spacers and screws. than when i took out the rack. i cannot put back the old bolts in, its not striaght.

How now? are they liable for it?

and i asked about a rattling noise on my bike, the mech told me its the manifold or something, than took a hammer and knock on the header, got one big dent on my header now. but no more rattling noise. im alil lost for words alr.

i just went back to ask about the cover. they told me "its like this one" wtf? than i called the hq, they told me something along this line "toh guan do one , not our problem". so where's the service standard here?

 

u all do at where de CKA? Mine is done at CKA HQ leh... i never been to other CKA before... lol...

actually, the seat not closing properly and securely for the first time is a common problem for some rw. i have it too. just make sure to whack it down had i guess. as for cka wise, hq i feel is the best as they are honest and they have even admitted to me b4 that they are more ex then other shop, but their service more then makes up for it.

 

why cka hq doesnt like to interfere with other branches work is becoz they feel that our 'home' branch should do their best to fix our problems first, then come to hq as a last resort. first time i went there, roy got so pissed with batok's work and called them up for scolding.. haha.. i was so speechless that time.

 

but cka hq do have their own drawbacks i guess... they only sell high end filters eg. knn and other high end stuff.. haha.. punctures my moral abit when i dont have money to spend there..

for me i go batok one and i went hq once to see see and i dunno where is the tohguan one and jurong one...

 

i think sometimes they very cumgong but tt same mech tt help me all the time frenly ba.. and wen got all those problem on the first day..

 

he compromise by giving a simota air filter and free sprocket change to pacify me.. and cos im soft hearted, i decided its fair enough la.

 

 

btw, motul got a eo tt is fully synthetic double ester which sells for 30 at a shop... i find it damn ex ... anyone tried?

amsoil is 22 which is 8bucks cheaper..

Haha! That's how CKA HQ Roy works Everytime i go there, roy sure brings a smile to his customer, no doubt repairing/servicing/enqiures. He is also efficient with his work like ordering stuff from oversea or on the spot repair.

thanks..=) from my pov the cdi is like the motherboard of the bike..the black box than controls the supply current of each systems like the lights engine to prevent overheating or undercharged..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_discharge_ignition tats wat i tink la..hehe.
