Insurance - General Enquiry

i call up the insurance company.

1. there is no such thing as any rider policy now.

2. only 2 name can be in the insurance. the 1st must be the bike owner + another sub rider.

3. the amount of cost will take the youngest rider name. (very unfair for the old rider)

4. There is no such thing as to buy 2 insurance for the bike (even if i am willing to pay).

5. If it is a company bike, then all employee from the company can ride the bike. the cost is x 100% of the premium. for eg, i am paying 230. i use my company to register the bike, then i will need to pay 460. everybody from my company can ride the bike (must be my company employee).

6. i hope the rest of the brother can feedback me more info. becos the above info is only quote base on a phone call to mi-shu......

thanks.

Thinking of buying a Suzuki GSX R 400, anyone know how much a insurance might be for a 19 year old with that bike?

(I'm only interested in a public liability insurance - which only covers the damage to other)

And is it legal for a 19 year old to ride 400cc?

Just called up 3 companies for insurance quotations too

AXA

TPFT - $680

TP
w/o
FT - $428

MITSUI

TPFT - $1000.45

TP
w/o
FT - $834.60

NTUC

TPFT - $1030.26

TP
w/o
FT - $661.28

With AXA being the lowest cost, should i just take it or is there any other stuff to consider?

P.S. sorry still noob at this, this is my first bike purchase:giddy:

I'm from Denmark, where you dosn't take licens in degrees (class)

When you got a licens to motorcykle following rules are demanded in Denmark:

* 18-20 years are allowed to drive on a bike with up to 34hp

* When you reach the age of 21 you're allowed to drive all bikes

Don't know if I'm allowed to drive on a 400cc bike with my international driving licens in Singapore

base on the FT that work in my company, they did tell me offically the TP accept international license for 1 yr. after that they have to convert to sg licence. however there is another FT has been using international license for 3 yr till he was remind a few time to go convert.
