Anyone know where can get cheap Car Jack ah ? Scape yard but where ?

Anyway, i use used engine oil pour onto a cloth den wipe my chain, veri clean but the cloth muz throw away so get those cheaper cloth. I pour my engine oil into those container i bought from hardward shop with a sharp tip at the top , so i put one in my bike , after ride , can lube the chain... I personally find engine oil is very good , if something can be use in ur engine , what harm will it do to ur chain .

tank bra is 150 from motoworld.

As for the tankbag, I usually dun clip on the two front D rings to the catch on the bagster tank bag unless I am going touring and need to travel faster...The five magnets at the base of the tank bag can still hold the bag in place at speeds up to 120.HOwever, if u're gona use both bag (top and bottom) it's better that you use the catch cos there's a fear that the bag might topple..

right now, i use the lower level bag for daily use.......

my 2 cents bro .....

hey guys...

Yesterday i just clean my chain using kerosene..it was my first time cleaning...after I had clean my chain, i went to ride for 10-15 minutes to warm up the chain at the same time removing the excess kerosene and water...afterwhich i apply the maxima chain wax..

But, when i check my chain today, i saw some "Spot Rust" appearing on my chain...So wanna seek ur advice...

so ppl might disagree with me .. but this is what i do.. for my old KTM.

i use degreaser to degrease the chain .. then use the soft cloth run and wipe the chain .. then i use wd40 and spray the chain and after 10 min like that i spray chain wax not only to the rollers but to the links too so to coat it with the wax (bit messy but i spray it section by section with a cloth at the background and use the eccess on the cloth to cover the links then after the whole process i ride and warm up the chain then i spray the wax again .. so far on that bike the chain last quite long ..

the above is my DID X-ring 525 chain after cleaning with petrol...

the process?

- use a air hose to siphon about 200ml of petrol into a soft drink can or any "gu ni gong".

- use a small painting brush and brush ur chain portion by portion with petrol to remove the debris.

- after all debris are cleared, wash with soap water using cloth.

- apply chain lube after chain has dried up.

i had been practicing tis process since 2 years ago...

cashwong, pls note, the rust on ur chain is due to no chain lube is at the walls of the chain...

most common cases of chain got spot rust is riding after rainy days. cos no chain lube so it rust.

its not a big prob to have spot rust. as long as the linkages r ok, n the the spot rust is not severe, it wun affect ur ride. just feel irritating looking at it.

Ya, maybe tats the reason for the wall of the chain link not properly lubricated..anyway, i respray the chain wax on the sidewall and the amount of spot rust were reduced..hmm..true, see already very irritated..cos put in many hrs just to wash the chain and didn't expect the chain to turn out like tat...
