Hi all,

 

Is it a common practice for the shop to hold your IC for like 1 day to do what ever they need to do ?

 

Im feeling quite auspicious..

 

Any advice greatly appreciated :)

If you are feeling auspicious, then quickly buy 4D. Sure strike one. If you are feeling suspicious, don't be. Standard practice for bikeshops to hold your IC for a few days when you just bought a bike... :thumb:

they will take ur ic and use it to borrow money from loan sharks! argh!!

its a procedure lah. they need ur IC so dat they can activate for u a PIN no when transferring ur name to the bike..

Just make sure you have docs from them stating your IC is currently with them.
