i donno why in the world you'd want to devalue a ducati bike with a less valuable honda badge.

 

is that a typo and you actually mean dressing up a honda bike with a ducati badge?

 

i've actually seen a hyosung gt600 comet with the tank showing 'ducati' in an obvious attempt to make it look like a ducati monster. definitely very pretentious.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

Its not a typo..

 

Just because no one have ever done it and I think it'll be quirky. Its also a statement that the rider doesn't give a hoot about the the branded "atas" ducati image. Buying the bike just because its a fun ride.

1) you're gonna have a lot of trouble come time to sell...

 

2) i think its a great statement to make, but instead of doing it by pasting a honda badge, i think it makes more sense to simply remove all ducati badges and do a one-off design paint scheme that makes the bike look cool and badge-less.

On original fairing? I'd say only an idiot couldn't tell that's a honda or a ducati.

Haha.. You'll be surprise many non-bike enthusiasts cannot tell the difference. They just look at what's written on the bike. Anyway, if you saw one, what would you think?

my honest answer is:

 

if i see a rider change his bike's logo to a higher end badge, i will immediately think: "pretender".

 

change his bike's logo to a lower-end badge, i will think: "something's not quite right in this rider's head".

 

remove all logos and do a custom paint job free of branding: "cool".

Ahahahah.... I may jus do that. Jus got a ducati st2, red. I think a round logo of 3 golden tuning forks will actually look quite nice.
