Some comments about ah cheong, just my experiences, so don't zap me.

Visited him couple a weeks ago to sync my carbs. Start on my bike on 11am, in between, he changed tires for this bike, fix a little something for another bike, he's like all over the place, just can't delicate 100% time on mine. Why can't just finish my bike in one go and attend to others? In the end, a simple sync job was completed at abt 4pm plus.

2 weeks later, discovered oil leaking from somewhere. It came from the crank case breather tube which ah cheong forgot to connect back to the airbox during assembly. Fine, small problem to me.

A few more weeks, the carbs go out of sync again. Decided to visit Guan Hoe instead. Discovered that the carb's balancing screw is not fastened or secured, whatever that is.

Makes me not want to patronise there. After you bad mouth them here....

Denden, not bad mouth lah. Just sharing his recent experience with the bike shop. Btw, have you done your dyno yet?

Price is the same, $35. Perhaps if I go with Adrain, the experience might be different. And I think most people have pleasant experiences from him, just ain't me...

Anyway, that doen't matter, I had done enough messing up of my bike.

Your bike is fed up with you for stripping it over and over.... they have feelings too you know?

Look at Weiz's bike, tour and whack all the time no problem. You're being too gentle on the bike lah.... SV must push!!

Cos it's a good bike to ride. Not many owners are giving up the bike. I believe the owners here agree fully with this.

Did you just got a LV muffler? How much does it cost?

The China Helmet looks good from the pics, and the price is damn cheap.

But one thing you must be prepared, no spare parts... i.e. Visor scratched, padding worned out, screw drop(lots of moving parts for flip ups) etc = Ho Say Liao....

Regarding LV pipe I just brought one at $530. Self install about an hour, the tricky part is to saw off the original exhaust.

Anyone here wanna change I can tell u what to buy and installation is easy....

I asked bike shop and they told mi installation about $70-80 cos original is SS so need special tools...

I ask my dad buy a $5 hacksaw and a $2 special blade for SS plus an hour sweat and is done........

Yes, I live in chia chee. $530 sounds damn good, but is it LTA approved? Who does the inspection + paperwork? You or the dealer? To me, that's the tricky part.

BTW, nice box. Let me know if you need side ones, I got the racks. Don't listen to Hart & etc...

Just get from dealer took them 3-5 week to import. They will pass u the request for inspection paper and cert from the manufactuer. Install the pipe and go to any vicom inspection center and they test the noise and pollution or something and wait for the paper work to be done. Less than 30 mins. If any of u want to fit the pipe I am more than willing to give advice.....Is just a hacksaw job and some sweat.... And the little v twin will lot of bass.....hee hee
