hmm maybe thats is more on individuals.

i am riding a 400 , my zr tires warm up fast when i ride, even in the wet.

but if u are using a h rated for a class 2 for long distance riding, u will suffer in anyway. however, if u are comfortable with it, that doesnt means others are also. so i think advising on what is recommended is the best if u dun really know the person well just like i dun have to educate u to use a zr rated when i, riding a 400 is able warm up the tires in any conditions.

That is a interesting point....Let look at the speed rating H rated is 210km/h and Zr is more than 270km/h or 240km/h I forgot.

If ur 400cc can warm ZR up well those > 150 bhp monsters will tear them apart...Which I dont think so.....

Tires need torque to warm them up as well accelration and deccelration.... ZR actually make of harder compound compare to H rated tires. If u think they are of softer compund then 1000cc bikers will make those tires like butter on hot pan......ANd what is warm up from ur point of view....ZR on my S4 need a very long time like 20 mins to feel hot and sticky when I have M1 on my Vtec S4...Yes they are able to warm but how long? 20 mins is far too long in my opinion....But 20 mins with 090 on my Version S tear the tires a bit if I ride a bit hard....when i see those peeling, it put a grin on my face...Cos u know it grips.....And tires tear to expose a new layer of rubber to let them grip well.....that y those going track wear them like nobody business..

Let look at H rated.....Speed rating of 210km/h..... Huh about the the top speed of SV6....Put in safety factor of tires and speed error on speedo on SV6.....Sound like a very perfect tires to mi....Cos we are pushing the tires if we install it.

Speed rating SV6 well on par....

Price? much cheaper.....

Weight? Lighter than ZR tires, lower unsprung weight which many pay thousands just to get that bit of weight off....

Warm up time.....I guess H rated on SV6 wins hand down....

Mileage I dont care I need grip cos I ride about 6000km per year only....

THose looking for mileage need not apply... It just a healty discusion...unless the above points are incorrect.....some one pls enlghten....

i don't doubt your points but i wonder u doubt my words. haha

zr rated, for more than 240, doesnt mean i have to ride that fast then i can warm up that tire. of course, it dont warm up that fast but it still warm up, i get the grip and also its value in money compare to distance.

then when a tire start to "tear" , do u think its good?

anyway i dunno u are just having a discussion, but u seem to convince pple for doing it.

Actually you can warm up ZR rated tires on a 400 as quickly as H rated tires if you accelerate and brake hard. Done it before, and it works for me. No slips resulting in accidents as a result. I get the desired grip, and tire longlevity.

090 is thread is thinner, so cant disperse water well like the gpr70. and it is also h rated , softer compound mah , so wears out faster lorz.

i think it is diabo if its not diablo, its consider sports tire lah, still better in wet road lah, sides got thread to disperse the water not like the one u using, is more for track use.
