Do you know if the Sundowner Seat is 2 up? Checking the books, it looks like it prob wont fit as its 16.5" for the Soft tail vs the 16" for the Super Glide. In any case, have him/her text me and I can swing by to check. I work in the City if that helps. 8181 5842

intending to make your ride with a higher holding position? I was thinking of that too but when i went to sunburst, ah yee kept telling me to keep it streamline...well i still thinking of putting on a 4 inch angle riser

just get the mini apes. no need worry about risers, just the cables. I think it's 12in. Sounds high but actually just nice.

Today at NBW I saw a harley with a skull for a headlight and an incredibly fat rear tire. Anyone here know what model it is?

a fully customised bike, even if it is not a harley, is hard to tell if the original geometry is extensively changed

Goin to mk a purchase of a Harley (my life dream) soon but have no idea where to get it so hopefully someone can help this noob here out

 

1) Where to purchase 2nd Harley(Sporster) other than the forum.

Know that Sunburst sells Harley so was wondering if the price is reasonable and the condition is good. Had many bad experience buying 2nd hands bike and end up spending alot of effort and money to get things fix

 

2) Are harleys (those in year 95, 96) engine reliable or should i get one that is like 1 to 2 yrs old

can't give u a good answer to point number 1, though sometimes there's some for sale here.

 

for the 2nd point, i've got a fellow rider friend who got himself a 95 rk, wear and tear parts no choice issues, but overall the engine is fine.

1) You can buy 2nd hand from:

 

a) This forum

b) sunburst

c) Sunhog

d) Check the saturday classified ads

 

2) Like all 2nd hand bikes, reliable or not doesnt really depend on the age but how well the previous owners takes care of the bike. You will have to ask the owner on service history, how well he looks after it etc. At the end of the day...it is still buyer beware but there are a lot of good deals out there to take advantage of.

Got my Dyna from this forum and it didn't gave me much problem. I gave the bike problem by not riding it as often.... it also depends on your luck, problem only starts after you start riding the bike.... Good luck, dude
