If you like your current ride you could consider a forward controls conversion. It is very common on Sporty's and gives a lot of leg strech. Have a sit on an 883C or 1200C to see how it would fit you. Just a thought as it could work out cheaper and more suitable than selling off your ride and getting another and modding to your requirements.

Cheers

true, but posture wise it will be pretty weird, and a lot more modding is required which is not the purpose of the "R".

besides i also want side luggages

not really 'new' as in out of production type u see... well obviously who wont prefer that, cause all my 2 bikes were 2nd hand, bought it cheaper, but then i have to come up alot upfront to pay for the bike

anyway the 883r was 18800 according to the guy whom answered my call, he said 4% interest per annum

anyway my dream bike is a vrod, but that day i saw a new vrod, n that bike was so silent! disappointing man!

yeah all new Harleys have no sound to begin with. I once saw a V-Rod with i dunno wat mufflers and the sound was like pounding hard bass on idling...very aggressive.

U buy a new 883r ya gotta change the mufflers to make it loud...original mufflers with the restricters = silent.

They will void your warranty if you never change to loud pipes...

G'day Don, any difference after adjusting your shocks?

As for my wife's sporty we haven'y had much time or cash to do much yet but will be back into it soon. Did upgrade the horn though to one loud enough to get trucks to move over hehe.

I'm looking for a back rack for it as well (94 883H) if you happen to hear of someone that may have one for sale.

Cheers

Hagar, I have got two types of back rest that might interest you. One of it is,

fixed type of back rest (non-detachable). and the other is fixed (non-detachable) back rest with intergrated luggage rack.....pm me if you are interested.

134 more cc, 1 more gear, 5 years newer, 25k less klm. Other than that it's exacly the same. I really like my current ride and would not change except an offer came up to get a newer version of the same. In fact my current ride has only 40k klm on it so has many many more to go before any major work needed.

No I mean 96 cubic inch (1584cc) up from my current 88 (1450cc)

I have posted in the used bike section so that I don't abuse the nature of this thread.

well u can alwayz go for Screaming Eagles, tho not the loudest out there but better then stock. Dun think they will void the warranty when u install SE mufflers with them...kinda spoils thier own business...

anywayz think SE mufflers (not the whole system) would cost like something above 500 bucks...

From what i remembered, the mufflers are hanging on the wall just behind the spare parts counter at the dealership.

all you need is surrender to the temptation and they will stop..:D

I would gladly surrender...if only someone would buy my Sportster. :dozed:
