There's this lil hawker stall at the food centre located behind the Buddha Tooth Relice Temple...thai food cooked by what seems to be a family of Thais. While I've never really tasted genuine thai food before, the food from this stall taste great to me.

Love spicy stuff

What about gong gong, chu chu, la la and chilli crab :thumb: There is this place along pasir panjang road where taxi drivers like to hang out. Seafood and spicy food, i rikes. Also, anybody tried the mutton soup in Beauty World, suuuper! The teh tarik at the indian drink stall there also very standard. Then there is the bak chor mee at bedok north. The food centre there opens late and got a lot of variety including city satay, tau huay zhui and kam chia zhui. Bestest la.

Hi friends

Just entered the HD bike fraternity about 2-3 weeks ago with a dyna super glide custom. Feel that I can do better with a more comfortable riding posture and have been looking at risers. Just want to check with the more experienced riders, what does it mean when the item description states has 1.5" "13 threads"? Is this piece of information important other than something less technical such as "fits 08 later dynas"?

Appreciate your advise.

Can't help you with your bike question, i only know how to ride it. But i hope your avatar is a true reflection of what you like. Could be our common interest hehe.

Hey congrats on your new ride!

You'll need to know the size of your triple trees (riser part should be standard tho)...size of your handlebars etc. Assuming your fork/triple tree/handlebars are stock...then just get a riser that fits the year of your model...becareful tho...some risers take fatter bars then stock so check the measurements carefully if you're planning to buy online...

I'm in no way an experienced rider...so let the other guys explain the measurement part to you.

Thanks Jamez

Didn't realise that HD was that eco-friendly with not one but "triple trees" growing on them bikes.. haha:D

The fork & handle bars are stock...So the bars are very likely to be 1" in diameter. I am considering to buy online a 4" to 4.5" riser with say 1" to 1.5" pullback. Hope with this change, I don't really have to change them cables.

But with that being said, if cable change is deemed necessary, then a handlebar change seems a better idea. One which provides the same outcome but changes the look somewhat.

Appreciate your advice on buying online. They are much cheaper even with shipping costs and provides a greater variety other than what the dealership has to offer.

The avatar was a true reflection of my decadent self when some weeknights, weekends and sunday afternoons were spent at Alley Bar. Still spent some time there with the missus and friends but without the booze.

Sorry if I have disappointed you mate.

agreed. 10 inch mini apes look nice on dyna superglides...but that's just me of course. for nightster i think if you change to miniapes don't have to change cables and wiring...just re-route the lines...check it out on some online forums in the USA...if so them would not be so hard on the wallet..unless you want chrome levers chromes housings chrome grips haha

buying stuff online if WAY much cheaper...but you gotta know your stuff quite well in order not to get the wrong measurements/fitments...

anyone work in Tuas? I just rode to Tuas and back and noticed there is a Subway at the petrol station there...does it open Sundays?

edit: ok it's closed on Sundays. Wasted. Could have been a good place for me to ride to and eat something. bike parked in view some-more. Ulu not much people. Ride up there on the expressways not much cars also.

Oh yes. I remember that subway from reservist days at tuas. That's actually a nice place to ride on a weekend. Open road and no traffic. Can do Fong Seng after also. Since it's HGF, can do morning rides instead of night rides.

We've been talking about morning rides for the longest time.
