Don't think the L valve will cause stability issue. They are used in a lot of bikes as well. All you have to do is to do balancing for the wheels after you install the L valve, then there should be no stability issues. :thumb:

been thinking of doing it. I've burnt my hand as well... A nice 20 cents scar to remind me of dat... Wats holding me back is the stability n integrity of the L valve .... High speed balancing issues n don't know whether it would tear... Not fun if it happens ya know... There's another product that's kinda like an extension thing... Fix it on when u wanna pump n take it off when riding... Sure reduces the chance of ba kua hands

more of a safety issue, get the better ones like these. I had these on my fazer, they go for around $45 per pair

http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRxMOUzOQwvDGzTRUDyPlNFEuug8Xu2CIWieN0Eeja9zlv5q_ToMOGWf4ix5Q

they are seated right at the bottom of the rim and will not rock when you pump air

the cheaper version, which is really a L-shape, will rock or shake from it rubber seal when you pump as you push the air pump hose against it. over time it will become loose and becomes a safety issue, the goldwing i sold to a friend was on this L shape valve and during one of his touring trip, the L-shape valve totally disengage from the rim during air refilling operations.

the newer touring models come with brembo as stock...

i've considered that before but it's not easy to find and can be costly. might as well go for aftermarket ones... :)

like what i said, brake pads..

and what tyres u running? stock dunlop? imho they r hopeless in wet weather...

Using steel braided, tyre is metzler. Not sure what brake pads I using but just changed recently. Think that brembo too expensive too. If wanna convert dual disc I gotta change the fork as well. That's a lot of cost incurred man. Plus if change dual disc will only be nice if I get another HD caliper which is gonna be damn expensive. And if put S4 brakes on HD spoils the look badly.

Use Brembo...if you are so particular about braking...if you are the type who whack very fast and then sudden speed ...I think HD not suitable for ya...I got a couple buddy changing their front to Brembo not because they are speed demon but kind of like the brembo braking system...They all did it in Kaki Bukit Rd !...Vicious Cycles...

scala G4..can link up to a maximum of 4 riders, link is via bluetooth so means 1 master and 4 slaves

if you need to link more riders, then go for frequency model like Yaesu..this one can link to unlimited riders as long as you tuned to the frequency.

I'm not particular about braking, just that the stock HD brake sucks so I'm looking to get something better. Putting brembo on it does not justify for me. Won't fully utilise the capabilities of the brembo as well as too expensive. Thinking of other brands.

Up to you....when you hear brembo you might think it costs alot....but I don't think so. Yup try other brands, any thing that associate with Harley ain't cheap when you look at the US market. When you are looking at other caliper for harley joli well check with other riders, or see the review but others from the net...

Hi mates, anyone can recommend what tyres is suitable our ride, i.e. metzler, etc.. yes, the dunlop is really ... useless... dont know whether will it skid if someone were to do a fast turn, on dry road.

u can't go wrong with either metzeler or avon, but expect higher wear rate :)

stock dunlop still ok with dry road... but no gd if under hard braking...
