hi guys, how much would you expect to pay for a complete overhaul on a nightster? thank you.

I depends on what you need to overhaul really. Piston rings are certain right. Cylinder can be rebored or need new cylinders? Anything wrong with the lower part of the engine? Valves all ok or do they need to be polished... etc etc etc. I'm guessing not more than $4k worst case scenario where you don't need new blocks, engine cases or any major parts.

It's your damn bike, wash it yourself! You rinse your own mouth after you eat, don't you?

Bros, when u get accessories online, where do u go to fix them? (If u're not into diy)

Don't think many mechanics would like it if you bring them parts you ordered but I may be wrong. Best if you go to a mechanic that can help you to order and order through him. Would cost more but then at least you have someone to fix it for you.

What bike do you ride and what aftermarket brands are you intending to get? Custom Chrome, JP Cycles or Drag Specialities or is it like RSD, FBI that range?

Hey there Kzone,

I just got myself the new Roadster too. Thinking of changing the handlebars to the 48 / 883 ones. Abit too tall for the stock bars.

I'm also thinking of aftermarket pipes. Other than the Remus being sold by HD, do you know which other exhausts are legal for the Roadster ( or the sportster range bikes ).

Finally, looking to get the VnH FP3 tuner as well.

ooh great to know another owner! I'm changing mine to the 48 handlebar too... the stock position is a little tiring having used to upride riding. I don't think there's any LTA approved pipes for our bikes yet (cannot use those for other sportster models). Even the remus is awaiting approval. Maybe I'll wait awhile to see if Jekyl hyde or VnH will be available

HDS can install the FP3? just googled it and it sounds super cool. I don't know much about bikes, only ride fm work to home kind of guy mostly. But I guess will need a tuner anyway for stage 1 mods so this could be an option vs the HD tuner?

Have u taken delivery? I'm waiting for some accessories to be installed before I ride off.
