I was wondering if rider smoke some weed or what.

 

He keep shaking his head.... shaking his head....

Oh.. There's a Super 4 in front holding up all squeeze queue between land 1 and 2.

You guess it right! And that monster rider was very fast in between lane 1 and 2 too! I enjoyed following his tail and at safe speed.

Psss... you change parking place already?

Here is a calendar of events planned for May 2009.

 

Weekly Meetup is every Saturday from 8:30pm.

We will continue to meetup at South Buona Vista and move off at 10:30PM for a ride. Come for the kopi, teh, milo, coke . . .

 

We have some new destinations to check out and will have supper at different locations each week.

 

Ducati SLR- May 3

The Ducati Owners Club will be going for the Sunday Lunch Ride. Meetup at Esso Gelang Patah at 9:00AM for a 9:30AM push-off.

 

Ramli Burger, Satay and Nasi Lemak - May 9

We will be going to our friendly neighbour north the border to have extra special Ramli Burger, Satay and Nasi Lemak.

 

Meetup at the usual place for a push-off at 10:30PM.

1) Don't have a heavy dinner

2) Have enough petrol for approx 30km

3) Bring your valid passport

4) Bring Cashcard

5) Bring Malaysian Ringgit

6) Bring your bike and be properly attired for a late night ride

 

Malacca Ride - May 23 & 24

We will be going to Malacca for an overnight trip. Anyone intrested, please let me know. More details to follow.

 

Night Safari Supper - May 30

Last month's ride for Ice Cream at the Night Safari had an excellent turn-out and it was followed with more rides and MORE Ice Cream.

 

Let's keep the suggestions coming in for new makan places, ride destinations and activities.

Anyone can recommend a brand for grips? I'm looking for thick grips, wanted rizoma grips but motoworld only brings in their stock in june.

i use progrip. Get those from chong aik. About 22.50 per pair. If you want heavy duty ones get bmw grips from regina. Cheers

Stock Ducati (and most Italian bikes) use Tomaselli; available from Minerva. BMW grips are comfortable; but not cheap. BMW-lookalikes available from Chiap Lee, Regina; about $15 or so, but the length and quality differs.

I suspect that there are more Paul Smarts replicas on Singapore roads than the Sport Classic. Minerva started with 4 Paul Smarts, and brought in another 4 when the first 4 were snapped up. The Sport Classic is IMHO much nicer than the Paul Smart, even though the Smart has more bling on it:
