Hi guys,

Been interested to get a m400/m900 for leisure,

seen a few(2*400, 1 * 900) for sale on garage sales.

3 bikes maintained by 3 diff shops/mech.

I seen varying amt of oil stains on the 3 bikes, mostly between the v twin blocks( all 3 bikes had this) , the oil filter area ( 2/3 of the bike i seen had this), the engine casing on ether side( seems to be from coming from the engine block).

Is it a standalone prob on this 3 bikes or its norm for a aging monster?

To really take apart the engine , apart from changing timing belts only, wats the cost like to replace gaskets on the bottom block of the twin engine?

Again, i'm looking for a used m400/900, i dun mind poor outlook, but visible oil stains looks scary to be done up, not knowing wat else to be done up?

carbon won the 'tone challenge' while titanium won the 'volume challenge'.. bottom line, it's what you prefer..
