Hi guys,

I've been a long time lurker on SBF and haven't really posted much here.

I just got my 2010 Ducati Monster 1100 w/ ABS two months ago and it's such a blast. It's a much better bike for the urban canvas compared to my old Sport Classic 1000S.

Here's a pic of it:

Bike was originally red but got most of the panels replaced with CF both from DP and Carbonvani.

Wheels and headlight cover are currently dismantled and sent to the panel shop to be sprayed to gold and matte black respectively. Couple of stuff such as Rizoma rearsets, Speedymoto pressure plate and clutch cover, Motovation frame sliders and LED indicators are on the way.

Hope to learn more stuff from the Ducatisis here!

Cheers

Wow I'd like to check out your S4RS. Haven't had the chance to see one up close before. Wasn't that into Monsters at that time but looking again the S4RS is a real monster!

Very nice, it must be a hoot to ride. Join us for meetups some time!

Thanks. It is nice to ride but I don't really like the extremely tall gearing. Most of the blokes changed to 14T but with the ABS module it might complicate things.

Where do you guys usually meet?

Newer Ducatis are geared tall to meet emissions requirements...

We sometimes meet at Victory restaurant at north bridge road, sometimes at Royal Prata Cafe at south bunoa vista road. Usually ad hoc but we'll try to post any meetups planned in advance.

Okay after almost four weeks, my Duke (M696) finally returned after rehabilitation at Raymond of Bike Harbor!!!

Rating: 12/10!!!!!

10/10 for doing a wonderful job with Duke, +1 for the perfect patch and paint job on the tank cover, +1 for cleaning up and sandpapering my frame sliders / engine guards.

Normally you don't expect bike workshops to do such a thorough job. But when I went back to check on Duke, I really had trouble remembering which side of the bike was banged up. I know Raymond subs out paint jobs to other workshops, but he really makes sure the job is done properly.

He is also quite friendly and likes to talk about other bikes in his workshops with you. But only if he is quite free.

Duke's rehabilitation took this long because I was waiting for spare parts to be shipped. Even though the bike was taking up space at his workshop, Raymond didn't call and complain about it.

You do need to give him time to complete the job. He's a one man show and cannot be hurried.

BTW, Raymond specialises in Ducatis. You can send other bikes in (I asked him if he services Agustas) but he'd rather just work on Ducatis. So please don't send in bikes like Hondas to Raymond lah okay dinie hahahaha...
