Hey guys, I'm the one who wrote the Ducati articles on my blog, thanks for reading!

deathism - the fuel consumption for the 1100 evo is anywhere from 11km/l to 15km/l, depending on how hard you ride the bike (it loves to be throttled hard, you'll understand it only if you ride it :)). Essentially the fuel reserve light comes on after 10 liters of fuel consumed, and that's usually about 120km - 140km for me. So yes, it drinks as much fuel as a car. The newer Monster 1200S is much more efficient at 15-19kml.

The M1100EVO likes to be ridden hard so you always use a lot of fuel. This said why get a performance bike like the Monster if it is to worry about fuel consumption ;)

Have recently sold off my beloved Monster 400, thus, no longer require the Termi Carbon High Mount Pipes. They look absolutely sexy on 1st gen Monsters. A must have for all riders. BUT UNFORTUNATELY, IT AIN'T LEGAL. I've paid over $700++ importing them but letting go at $400 only. Feel free to contact me at 82230222. Thank you.

Hi, I am riding a 1100EVO 2013, I do 150 average before reserve light comes on.. I usually rev up to 6 or 7k each gear during traffic light stops. I realize that u need to keep the revs up to save fuel.
