Eurovans

Hey guys my parents are getting a eurovan and i'm trying to find out as much information as possible...

I've heard negative comments on the eurovans mainly due to high maintenance...

Basically i've a few qns..

1) How much will a first hand eurovan cost?

2) How much will a 2nd hand eurovan cost?

3) What are the pros and cons of getting a eurovan..?

 

Really need advice from those who are driving or have drove one before....

ranges around $30-$35K for brand new...

 

2nd hand you got to check the age & condition of the vehicle...

 

Pros :

1.cheap 4 wheeler. i can get a big vehicle with ample leg space , & sit comfortably for $30K. what kind of car can you get with $30K?

 

2.powerful with a lot of drag.

 

3.diesel is cheaper...so is the insurance & road tax...

 

4.very versatile. i once went to ikea & saw a family struggle to put their shopping in a fortuner. i giggled at them.

 

Cons:

1. you cant go fast. but then again..how fast can you go in s'pore?

 

2.you cant enter malaysia without the proper permits. its expensive.

Don't bother....Most ppl just dont understand. The old mentality of VAN/DIESEL is there. In fact i like it this way.
