Hi Mr Wangwang,

The insurances depends how old are you, it is ranging from $1200-3000+ between First & Third party fire & theft.

Average fuel consumption is about 200-210Km for 14+ litres.

Buy it to find out. You won't regret it when you wheelie.

As a friendly advise (Not b/c I rode a Ninja),

If you plan to change to the K5 b/c it's has a gear indicator, slippery clutch & integrated signal, just keep your 929..... that bike is fugging ugly :puke:

The hp: 165hp and 82ft of torque!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BONE STOCK!!!!!!

But yet to be proven on the street?

If 10r is what you been thinking of, get it if you can.... no point waiting to get the 06 CBR b/c you won't know which............. you know what I mean.

But if you are concerning about Kawa spare parts, higher insurance & unstable on the road, then forget the whole damn thing b/c you are missing out a lot of fun!

Wake up brother........

gsxr 1000 wins Mcn 1000cc shootout.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So good it makes the ZX10R, R1 & Blade feel slow...'

The above is a quote from today's group test of the four superbikes in MCN (UK).

'A New Class Leader

Regardless of whether you're riding on road or track, going fast or slow, the new GSXR1000 is a big step ahead of the competition.

Last year's group test winner, the R1, is the runner up here. While it still impresses thanks to it's superb build quality, styling speed and smoothness, it's disapointing on track compared with the Suzuki.

The Honda is third, handling both road and track duties with ease

and confidence, but it just lacks the fun factor of the other three bikes. However it is the joint cheapest bike here with the Suzuki.

The superb ZX10R brings up the rear. This aggresive green machine is the weapon of choice on the track and for going bonkers on the road, but it's too single-minded for many riders and can be intimidating for some.

The GSXR1000 manages to combine the best bits of all the other bikes, and then some. It doesn't just win this test, it absolutely walks it.'

All the bikes were dyno'd :-

GSXR - 159.2bhp/80ftlb/166kg

R1 - 151.8bhp/72.1ftlb/172kg

ZX10 - 151.8bhp/76.3ftlb/170kg

Blade - 151.5bhp/76.4lbft/179kg

I'd like to see the dyno graphs...

Call Evershine to get the MRSP b/c they are the agent. Some shop have different way of "OTR" price, so agent has the standard beachmark to compare. Btw, the price still remain the same as what I know.

Good luck if you can get someone who knows them.

so meaning that, usually Agents will have the standard benchmark for the prices ? and other shops would usually have a slightly higher price than the agents themselves?

Posted

NO, it depends on which shop you go to, the m/c price from the agent is the standard, OTR price depends on the bike shop.

When the dealer get from agent, they have a special price, so they will use the agent's MSRP for the bike. M/C price should not change no matter which shop you go to, it's the overall package you should look into, interest rates & also after sale service.

Hope this helps........

The stock usually last longer than the aftermarket chain as they are much stronger & provided you take good care of it.

From the US forum, 520 is lighter but it's considered the border line for a litre class. The 525 will be more logical to use them on the street, unless your concern is the rotating mass.

On the average, how many km will the original lasts?

Heard about the 520 sizes.

Are they any better than the original 525?

Hope this link will be able to answer your question.....
