The Malamute was given by a friend as she could not keep him anymore as he became very very big.

The spitz is my wife's dog that came with her when we got married.

For Malamutes, prices can range from about 1800 and above. Depends on the family line, eye colours, bone structure etc.

Japanese Spitz? I dont know how much...but should be in toy dog range.

Anyone here needs a dog gate / cage ?

The material of it is stainless steel, comes with a metal tray and side entrance.

It is foldable and comes with a top cover.

The size is approximately around 90 cm Length by 60 cm width by 80 cm height.

These are very rough estimations as I have not used the cage for almost a year and was kept folded all the way since.

I bought it for about almost S$80.00 at serangoon gardens' pet shop and was hoping to let go at $50.00 or MORE of course.

I was hoping to assemble it and take some pics of it to post it up online. But, just too lazy to do it.

Interested parties can come over to my place to take a look at it with no obligations.

I do free delivery at any point of this island. Or if you urgently need this item and got no time to come over to view it, I can bring it over to let you see it.

That is, IF you urgently looking for a cage / gate.

Contact me at 92959198.

Thank you.

you\'ll live only once

I have a medium size mixed breed (approx. 18kg) and I've trouble getting taxis.

Even when I book a cab, 50% of the drivers who arrive would either not take my dog (claiming that the operator did not tell them I've a dog / my dog is too big) or will very reluctantly take us and grumble throughout the journey.

But I did mention that I've a medium sized dog and the drivers always have the impression that medium size is like maltese.

One taxi driver that we booked even locked himself inside his taxi and refused to come out of his taxi and we had to knock on his window to ask him what happened. And he was already informed that we had a medium sized dog.

Irritating~!

Anyone knows any other alternative?

Pet taxis are avail but i dunno which one is good.

Any recommendations?

:weep:

Dear SPCA supporters,

Thank you to all of you who supported the Heeren fundaiser event on the 5th August. It was a resounding success with $9,000 raised.

If you were not able to make it for that event, we have another fundraiser by another group of students from Hwa Chong Insitution/College that will be happening this Saturday as part of the YMCA-Citibank Youth for Causes Project and President’s Challenge 2006

Details

Event Name: Animals R for Life (ARF)

Date : 19th August (Saturday)

Time: 10 am to 4 pm

Venue: Bukit Panjang Plaza (Garden Plaza , 2nd storey)

MRT: Choa Chu Kang and then take the LRT to Bukit Panjang stop.

Buses: 5, 171, 175, 177, 179, 180, 187, 190, 927, 960

As part of their fundraising efforts, it would be so great if you could purchase a $10 donation ticket which would entitle you to a goodie bag (you would have to be present at the event) . The goodie bag comprises of a $10 Raffles Hotel Shopping Voucher. 15% discount off Sheraton High Tea on Saturdays, some sweets, a bottle of water and some shopping vouchers at Bukit Panjang Mall . The value of the goodie bag would be definitely more than $10! We will be selling these donation tickets too at the SPCA . You can contact Selina at [email protected] with your HP number if you are interested in purchasing a ticket. Remember the money raised will go towards helping the animals at the SPCA.

The event will also include pet and owner lookalike competitions and a best dressed pet competition. ( no elaborate dressing please!) There is no registration fees. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners. Prizes include pets accessories, vouchers of $100, $50, $25 respectively and trophies will be given to the top 3 placings as well. If you are interested in taking part with your pet, you can pre-register by emailing Jaime at [email protected].

An auction will be carried out to raise funds for SPCA. Items to auction will include expensive wine starting at below the market price, buffet lunches at below market price among other items. All proceeds will go to SPCA.

Booths will also be set up selling SPCA merchandise, US Doggie Bakery goodies, hand painting booths, balloon sculpturing booths, photo-taking booths etc.

You are welcome to bring your pets. The students will also be providing a free pet sitting service for owners who wish to walk into the shopping mall to take a look at the shops as larger pets are not allowed in the air conditioned premises. ( Toy breeds are allowed to be carried in your arms)

Here’s the summary of the programme schedule:

10am : Event commences/ Registration open for ‘ Pet Look-a-like’ and ‘Best

Dressed’ Competition

11am : Best Dressed Pet Competition ( no elaborate dressing please!)

2pm : Performance by Professional Pet Trainers

2.30pm: Pet Look-alike Competition

4pm : Prize Presentation for winners

Hope to see you there. Please spread the message to your family and friends.
