maybe u shd send ur doggies for obedience training first. after the basic training, its much easier to call your dog to come back when off leash.

hi, I would like to bring my two beagles to ECP, but everytime i take off the leash, have to chase them very hard. Do you all take off the leash? Hope to let them meet more friends.

 

er.. thought i heard news say cannot unleashed their dogs in the public.. will immediately will get fine if got caught?

regardless of trained or untrained?

 

anyway expo having a dog show this sunday.. gogogogo seeee..

got the two of them from SPCA, very well-behaved at home......... but when go out, who's their father also forget leh...... never thought of sending them to school cause half the month not in singapore.....

i bring them out twice a day for at least half an hour each time, but still............. i heard people say its their breed characteristics leh...... no choice i guess, have to leash them up everytime go for walk. only when we go to the park connector at 3am then i let them run free.

I know my dad always bring my jrt down w/o a leash, he'll walk beside my dad, sometimes run ahead abit. but when my dad calls him back, he'll come running back.

 

But when i bring him down w/o a leash, he'll just go crazy, run all over the place, refuse to listen/come back when i call. Everytime see cats, i'll be chasing him like mad...

 

he knows who he can get away with and who he should listen to...

No la. think the initial stage must be strict. scold him/smack his hind legs when he don't listen...

 

my dad make noise I also scared la...what more my dog

 

Most of the time i just let my dog get his own way, thats why he don't listen to me.

I m nt sure wat is the groomer's name, cuz its my 1st time visiting this groomer.. so good or nt also nt very sure.. but i knw its at serangoon. just abt 2-3 doors next to Pet Clinic.

 

i stay river valley area. used to bring to zion rd pet shop but closed down le. brought him to Pet's lovers at holland v but they cant handle my dog. =x plus after that i think they accidentally hurt his eye. *angry*

 

so now am looking for another pet shop...perferably one when i can stay and see wat's going on. coz he kena cut when grooming so now he gets very defensive.

Mine is at Serangoon area. But hmm.. i think nt very well done ley.. or maybe its because i didnt give them instructions. all they did is bath n trim the fur. Nails is undone, ears nt clean..

there one at telok blangah road.. i send my shih tzu there for grooming as well as get food from them.. the owners are pretty friendly... its near grace meth. church.... after shell, theres another petrol koisk(forgot its mobil or esso)

actually its not advised to stay there to watch the groomer groom your dog. as your dog will know your there and will bark and stuff to try to get your attention.. making the job as the groomer even harder..

 

if your dog cant see you, it will feel sort of "helpless" and scared.. and ofcourse easier to handle which equals to a better cut... needless to say...

 

just find a groomer you trust and let them do the work..

actually its not advised to stay there to watch the groomer groom your dog. as your dog will know your there and will bark and stuff to try to get your attention.. making the job as the groomer even harder..

 

if your dog cant see you, it will feel sort of "helpless" and scared.. and ofcourse easier to handle which equals to a better cut... needless to say...

 

just find a groomer you trust and let them do the work..

I just make my doggie sit on my tank. If i'm alone, I'll put him in a carrier. If my bf sends us, than he'll just sit in between us.
