I've been eyeing on a Super Tenere for sometime...your post states that owner will be keeping the number, will the new owner get a new number plate from LTA?

Yep. When you do the transfer. Upon request by the seller, LTA will retain the current bike number and will issue the bike a new bike number. Now is still the FBH series. All these are included in the 11 dollar transfer fee.

 

Of course seller himself has to pay 1500 to retain his old number and is given one year to have it register on another bike

LTA number retention is $1300 for seller (in this case bro yammie).

 

I just retained mine... Hahahaha... Now dont know to put on used bike or register on a new bike.
