Basically i have the few hotel that was recommand is as below:-

 

1. Lee garden plaza - 1021-1200THB per nite. beautiful and large room. at the heart of hatyai. the tallest building at hatyai (landmark). basement car-park. it is a shopping centre itself. great view in the room. have gym and swim pool. (i am stay experience this hotel before)

 

2. Pink lady hotel. old yet nicely maintain room. 550-700THB per nite. it is pack with night life in the hotel. ground level carpark with guard. lift at 2nd floor. (i am stay experience this hotel before)

 

3. HADYAI GOLDENCROWN HOTEL. 700THB per nite. I learn from the website that it is quite new. (i am no stay experience this hotel before. this is the hotel mention by a few brother in this topic, so i guess this hotel is kind of good too. i suppose the surrounding is good for this hotel base on the map location. their website say within walking distance to shopping centre.)

think i cant join this time.. got advice from bikers.. it will be too tiring and dangereous for me to travel back to sg by myself.. unless i got one more bike or pillion (who knows the way) to accompany me..

ace. like i suggested in msn. if possible booked your return date on mon. the rest of the team is returning from thailand to malaysia on mon. you can choose to skip the stop over at malayisa and head home to sg. You can also ask if any of the team wishes to return home on mon with u or not.

 

Yes, it may not be advice to return on by yourself from thailand on sun afternoon. that is why i ask if u would want to wait till mon when we cross the border together. after which it will be NSH, right?

Hatyai GoldenCrown basement parking with security..went there last month with a group of s4 riders....Good place to stay...already message mi5trooper about it....if the trip was around august i would have join ...good luck for the trip guys

Yeah...But the VL in kanchanariburi I stay is not as good

 

Dirt cheap though only $350 bhat. Its about 900 over km from hatyai.

itinery? hmm... i don't know bro. it is suppose to be free n easy trip.

 

however, as a biker, visiting to the bike shop is in our mind, right? so most likely will just visit the "bike street" one of the biker introduce in the early msg. so, this is most likely going to take about 1-2 hr. this is most likely taking place on sat afternoon.

 

visiting the temple is a must event for me. I will want to visit the 4 faced budda. i will want to visit the guan ying temple the previous msg is talking about too. this is also going to take about 1 morning. this is most likely taking place on sun morning.

 

visiting the night spot like disco should be included. but it really depend on the crowd perference.

 

I would presume, visiting bike street, temple and a few meal is group activities. the rest is "to each of its liking".

 

Is this explanation ok? furthermore, there is also our handphone to call each other for last min plans and invitation. right? (which is why i say, thai sim card is preferred)

In my opinion if a biker is unable to take enough leaves to cover this 4 days to go as a group and come back as a group and needed to rush back to Singapore by a certain date, then it might not be advisable to go.

There are always a next trip which can accomodate you nicely without the need to rush back.

 

Rushing and riding alone on the Malaysian highway is not the safest thing to do moreover the journey is long and boredom and fatigue tends to sets in after riding more than a few hours.

 

I had experience that before and kept shouting and singing loudly inside my helmet to keep myself awake, scary and extremely dangerous

haha dun need to show me the room pix. i stayed there countless times before. there are countless other hostels towards the bridge over river kwai side which are cheaper but worser conditions hahaha but nicer view.

 

900km+ dont sound too bad if you take the train midway thru.

 

yeah id like to meet up to know how the trip went.
