ashenz i met him on the way to JB .. he just parked beside me and chatted...

 

I think it will be good if you can loan from hitachi and make a ownership transfer to make it safer...

 

Anyway i viewed the bike ... Mileage stands at around 23k... Condition still ok but on the box a couple of scratches .. :smile:

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

Coz my insurance for ST11 is for 18mths hor.. (dues to roadtax reason)

 

cost only $700+ for rider age 24yrs old ehh....

but bike 5yrs old lah.... ermm..

Road tax/yr is $500...

 

insurance for 2nd party definitely over $1K... dats a big deterent... :cry:

 

but hor.. u r too tall for FJR lahh.. shud get those enuduro bikes... like V-strom, TDM or GS1150..... fwahh dats the best~!

asked around for new FJR, found there are diff in pricing, ~ 23K+ & 28K+, anyone know what is the diff between that two quoted price? (both pricing on 2005 model, ABS I guess)

if i'm not wrong.... $23K is the machine price.... and $28K is the O.T.R price for the FJR....

 

Was at Looi's yesterday... he was telling mi the machine price of the FJR is $23K too...

 

But if you look at Sat's ST Classifieds, you will see this Yamaha column stating the machine Price of FJR is $22K+... it shud be one of the lowest around??? :confused:

 

This must consult our resident FJRians who bot the machine 1st hand to confirm.. :smile:

Talking about maintenance, rd tax & insur...sure that is something to worry too...next on my consideration list is FZ6, V-strom DL650 (if I go with chain driven machine)

 

a little worry about 2nd hand bike as difficult to find low milage, Looi's recommend Varadero but price hi too. (23K??)

 

I am considering bike with box (I need min. top box) .AND. shaft driven.

 

so...FJR & ...emmm...GS12 - if I strike ToTo or 4D...

I too tall? Think I almost same with u wor. The most +- 3 cm nia.

Ya kinda I agree with you actually all the while is the insurance and road tax that turn me off. Find that its really too xing even though it happens only once a year. Pay almost the same as car already.

Eh guys ...

 

Think i should be one of the youngest FJR rider around here...

24 yr old paying $1272 3rd party fire and theft after 15 + 5 % NCB .... Road tax 500/ yr.
