I've collected my pannier & guess what..

Seng Kwang (William) did a Damn AWESOME job.. Solid service & excellent workmanship!

 

U cannot rip open the Boxes with your barehands anymore.. My hp cam a bit F***ed up so pic not nice. will upload pics later @ nite (digicam)

 

Another one of our FJRian brudas was also getting his panniers secured when i was collecting mine. U know what, We should make this modification a standard SOP for all FJR panniers

bro that is why i tell that since u have already bought the lock why not we find another metal works and ask them to fabricate for us maybe 10 sets... i think seng kwang is way to expensive as no other will make for us so seng kwang jack the price till 240.. its a crazy price.

Hong Leong told me i've got to replace my panniers for tt small broken plastic CAtch. which definitely cost more then 240$.. New panniers also means lock catch is breakable!!

 

For 240$ u saved on new panniers as well to secure it with a steel lock catch. The way i see it, 240$ is the lesser of both evil

 

bro that is why i tell that since u have already bought the lock why not we find another metal works and ask them to fabricate for us maybe 10 sets... i think seng kwang is way to expensive as no other will make for us so seng kwang jack the price till 240.. its a crazy price.

 

I think it's a great idea.. get a quote from another coy. compare and see.. & also please check if it includes workmanship ,unless u guys can install it yourselves.

The brackets are indeed nicer and sleek than they used to be. No wonder they jack up their price that much.

Agreed..but where can we find metal shops that can do really nice work like seng kwang?and as i know only they can do customise brackets and motor shops get their supplies from them..

 

as seen from arul's new lock,its really slick rite.no those BIG obvious locks that will really spoil the looks..but paying $240 for wat i considered rather small locks (but indeed useful) is really
