off topic...just went to change my rear shock to OHLINS..total damage cost me ard $2k at HKL:giddy: ..feels okie cos i just ride inside the carpark and left my bike to southern for respray from midnite blue to Black..saw two new FJR and one of it is black,fallen in love with it:angel: ..anyway they had an FY6678 FJR for sale oso,but didn't ask the pricing for it as the sale guy(BEN) is not ard:thumb: ..no harm asking for the pricing if anyone looking for a 2nd hand FJR..

cost me $600 for a metalic black with box..but i didn't include the box cos i'm using H&B side box..and i spray my rim which they charge $60 a pair and ban says the whole process took roughly 3 weeks..hope i ans your reply cos i seldom online..

Has anyone change the handle grip to Bmw grip on an FJR with grip warmer?

 

Im facing a problem here, seem that the BMW grips are shorter than original grips.

 

The grip warmer wire and cable is visible due to the shortness of the BMW grip.

 

Will it damage the grip warmer due to the exposed wire & cable when contacted with water?

 

Btw is there a few types of BMW grips or just one?

replied u on Acc & Gadgets..yup BMW grips are shorter so must think of wat to do wif that little "empty space".

once heated grips are taken out there will be no more wires available coz its all connected.

Some prefer Mr "Kenny" from Bike 123 near Lavendar...

 

My preferred mechanic has gone back to JB to open his own bike workshop.

 

Others have their own preferred mechanics.

 

So it is to each his own...

 

But Mr "Ah Keong" from HKL has been servicing quite a few bros' FJRs from here and quite reliable...

 

Good Luck to you in your search for your preferred mechanic...

Just want to Check before i push my baby to a shop,

 

was just checking on my transmission and it's said that when your bike is on main stand it should rotate by itself even when it is on Neutral. What could be the main problem if it doesn't and has anyone here experienced anything that seems to be off?
