Anyway, here's what was conveyed at the final meeting last nite.

 

So far abt 600 bikes, so that works out to be abt each grp abt 30 bikes.

 

each grp 3 marshals- 1 lead, 2 wings. Lead to prevent grp from gg too fast, wing to prevent grp from gg too slow and to keep the bikes in formation.

 

Marshals form up on parade sq before 1130 to wait for participants, both entrances to PA will be open for us.

 

if heavy rain + lightning, seek shelter. If drizzle, continue as planned. Once deployed, rain or shine will only stop at flyer. Rain gear to be worn before move off

 

Upon getting on PIE, stick to Lane 3. We cannot stop cars from filtering in/out, so all marshals have to decide when to slow convoy to let cars pass. Slow bikes, not stop bikes. Average e'way speed abt 60km/h.

 

Slow down after entering lane 3 to allow full convoy to form up.

 

Traffic lights to be obeyed unless directed to proceed by police.

 

For breakdown, only one friend of biker + one wing marshal to stay with breakdown bike.

 

Marshal pillion not encouraged, but not prohibited. If carrying pillion, marshal

Yeap, I heard that guy blabber it too. Although I din bother remembering his face... Apparently cos he wanted the "easy" job of being a stationary marshal after kushinagar proposed using fjrs as stationaries. In the end, Fazers doing it.

 

I wonder how if the convoy got to slow down... maybe he will end up at eunos or bedok cos he cannot slow down.

I think on the contrary, he didn't want their group to be the static. Otherwise, he would have volunteered when Andrew asked for volunteers.

 

Andrew mentioned that the static will be picked up by the Final Sweeper and being at the very end means you'll be traveling very slowly and probably least happening.

 

Anyways, I just write it on my siggy for fun. Lets not get too bothered..

 

Just now went for another familiarization myself, saw 2 FJRs on separate occasions ... Now more confident.

 

One point to bring up. When we reach Sims Way (3 lanes) itself, I find it good to keep right asap cuz right turn lane to Geylang is a separate branch off. Is that what we suppose to do or keep to center lane and only keep right AFTER Geylang?

Deanz,ur dri-fit any other color as well other than black? Perhaps can have 2 colors Black/White so the FJRianz here can choose..

 

another thing,hows the sizing like? u might wanna try it on first then compare whether its like the SBF polo-t size or normal "Giordano" size?

agree wif zamani,SBF polo-t is 1 size smaller so must choose bigger size..

 

reason is im afraid the pple here will be disappointed if they were to buy the wrong size..
