Agreed totally.. so far i've been using it and my last tyre change for PR2 is at 31,100km!!

Been sticking to tis tyre ever since..

 

My personal opinion on these tyres.... 0.00000202 cents worth lah

BT021 - good cornering BUT tyre wear out SUPER FAST

MetzelerZ6 - Very sturdy tyres, good mileage, good $$$ value

Pilot Road 2 - Superb mileage, superb corner

 

Pirelli ST ANGEL - Still Considering.... :angel:

Thanks WEIZHONG, wubefrub, omnislash, And Asap! I was a little puzzled by the bald patch (not the one on my head :cool:). I dont ride hard at all, Infact I baby it a lil too much:P. So, I thought I'd sound it out. I'll look around for a michelin... else just what ever comes by. Thanks for clearing that up.

guys a noob question here... is it ok for me to use EO sold in petrol kiosk those which are 4L ones.. Some of ma friends say its not suitable but i see our manual it tallies with the EO like 20w-40. So can use or not???

Rmb I asked you guys about a squeaky sound coming from the water pump area? About a week ago, coolant started to leak from the pump assy weep hole. I had it fixed and the outer bearing totally seized. Maybe thats why...

Can, but they are expensive and not as atas as some brands that specially make for performance bikes. You may wanna try Maxima, rockoil, royal purple. All reasonable pricing and all the sh it about esther base and stuff...

Weozhong, I got my front tire (michellin pilot road 2) from Southern motorcycle. I got it for 170 including fitting and balancing + 3.40 for using a credit card. Mah motors also has it, but they did not do balancing with the fitting. The other places quoted about 200-220 for the same tire! I hope you get your tire soon.

 

As for the riding comfort, it feels like the front has half the weight and it feels as light as my 600cc suzuki! FJR feels twice as flickable now :). I hope this one lasts more than the bridgestone.

There is a shop at Tanjong Pagar area, behind the NTUC, on level 2, that sells the Royal Purple.

 

Not sure if the shop still sells them or not. :)

Yes, they are the only one that i know of... Thanx to Mr Ashenz, who is now in taiwan I think.

 

But if u choose to use Royal purple, only use it during when u are not replacing ur oil filter cuz it comes in 1 qt

What is the best EO to use for FJR to cut down engine heat? some say Motul 10-40.

EBC brakes u can buy from any bike shop bro.. most importantly u must know ur brake pad model number. It shd state in the manual..
