1) Change only end cad will not alter the FC...but what I heard was that it will lose top end speed but better acceleration. Your choice..I stll comtemplating this changing thingy...if you read the earlier thread...I can get Leo Vince at good price ( hopefully is good )..any FJR can get cheaper let me know..

 

2) I guess this depend on your size and riding posture ya? I'm good with stock.

Its always the case...thats why when I decided to buy the bike, I ask the bike shop to show me the bike...I bought it but bikeshop condition is the side pannier will come 2 weeks later...but I waited abt a month for the side pannier...that time I also very TL...but no worries, once you get it...you will forget the painstaking moment of waiting.

 

Then you will start to TL why u dont have the time to ride...wahaha...(just joking)..

 

Patience is Golden..

 

i have a funny feeling that my panniers won't arrive at the same time as the bike...

last time i bought the FJR, i had to wait for the panniers also.

 

but this time round i wanted the bike early so i can use CNY and ICT to run-in the bike...

now it seems like i gotta ride around singapore just to clock mileage.

Wow.. Glad to see the FJR riders here are enthusiastic. Would love to see all of us riding up north together-gether.. Say 10 bikes heading one destination.. SWEET!!

 

By the way, so its true that the windshield must be down.. Hmmm..

I thought its sole purpose is to deflect the wind away from the rider?

Tks for the help bros, look like I will b heading to workshop to hv my HID kit fix up as it's so much work n for accessories I'm looking for taller windscreen tat can fix on my 08 FJR. FJR is a comfortable bike to ride on but too bad it does not hv the power of a busa... Hope to meetup some FJR riders for short trip... Cheers to all...

bro do update on the HID kit. for how much and where. thinking of fixing. for taller windshield, try calsci or ermax windshield. bro kazky is using a calsci windshield if im not mistaken. as for ermax one, motoworld can get. but not that nice lah imho. im using ermax on my 04.

Use 6k better and that is yr signature color... Lolx

The HID kits he got is the cheapest and best quality one. I used it before on my buss too. No regret.

im still waiting for my H4 HID bulb to reach SGP. Balas I'm using my old one. After I fix up I will share info here... My HID kit last me ard 2 years n still serving well...
