dun tink dat shub be the case... all my prev bikes... including ST11 goes straight....

for me... normal riding i have to tilt abit right to counter the the left veering....

 

once i let go of the handle bar... it veer left immediately.... i can be on 1st lane... and it moved all the way to the 3rd.... rather drastic i guess...

Request for side slip test if available. Hong Leong should be able to give a favourable reply during your first servicing..

Terry will be in town this weekend. Let me know if you guys ready to clock some mileage this weekend.. We met up with Adril last weekend in Kong Kong (Pasir Gudang).. He dropped his bike. Only slightly scratched. Luckily his drill type slider proved it's claim.

Howz the tankbra working for you?? yesterday i kena the signature burnt marks on the inner thighs Teamlm was tokking about...

 

mi left 2bars on my fuel gauge.... and the tank seems to get so freakin hot.. i cud swore i saw intense heat rising frm the tank....

 

dunnoe when my tankbra will arrive... motoworld took so long... now more den a mth liaoz...

its just a pic of my toe nail coming off cuz there's another ineer one growing.. Tot i dun get to see it that often so i took it as a souvenir...

 

The tank bra is ok.. I dun feel so much of the heat now... I think its a must buy if u want ur fuel tank to be protected from any scratches bah...

 

Ur bike will feel hotter in the beginning during the run in period and when ur using mineral oil.. It should be slightly better once ur run in is done and u change to fully syn... have patience ya...

yes it's possible... get a funnel there are few sizes get the right 1 , after u close the cap , use water to drain over the areas ... . BTW DUN TOP UP TO THE RIM , just leave abt 1 inch gap from rim.

well .. yah lun and jim1 is MIA , but he's still on the FJR .. well it's a good touring bike. even now when i stop on the road there still head turners.. but the price really shoot up .. when i brought it in 02 aug was $24.6k otr now is like 28k plus otr .. crazy man/.. if not i will have purchase the 05 series .. WELL i guess it's already a 5 yr bike in the market . what ever the errors n improvement it should have overcome n upgraded. . MAY the FJR spirit stay up upon u guys dudes.

ehhh ur instructions abit vague....

 

the coolant reserve cap got a screw wan ehh... do we need to unscreww it or can we juz push up the cap???

 

seems the coolant dry real fast in this bike...

 

last time my ST11 the same thing.. but after i change to Mercedes coolant.. seems dat the coolant dry up less... n temp abit lower n more stable...

 

maibe go n change again...

No need to dismantle the fairings, the gap between the fairing is good enough.

 

And yes, you need to remove the screw to remove the reservoir cover for topping up. I use an empty plastic bottle from my wife dressing table for topping up of the coolant, very suitable and convenient for the job
