Around Singapore I usually have the windshield down all the way to maximize air flow. When the wind gets stronger at higher speeds I raise the windshield enough to reduce the blast on my chest, but not cut off all air flow. If there's no air flow across the top of my helmet, I get really hot. This means I can still see over the top of the windscreen.

will the wind shield of yours virbrate at high speed ?

Ermax screens, yes definitely.. Aftermarket screens are way higher than stock. How u adjust ur screens depends on how comfortable u are. Best to get few fjr kakis and those tat have the aftermarket screens, can try them out. The annoying part is when at its lowest setting. Again it depends on ur eye level. Not everyone experience but some have.

Calsci screens are according to height following the measurement i gave them. Theres a few sizes to choose from. So mine usually at low setting just abit up is enuf.

wad size of the windshield did you order ?? maybe i will try it out ... hmmm anyway when i go super super slow speed and minor bumps on the road i always heard my front there are some knocking sound ? is it normal ? anyone experience that too ?

U mean the Calsci screens? Im 1.7m and if i remembered correctly i ordered the L size. Feels good..

Front forks knocking after bump, u either set it too soft or its time to flush out ur fork oils.

Urs is a 04 model right? If its not done, its a good time to start. U might also want to look into bleeding ur brakes if it was not done before. These are some safety critical maintenance that for me is very important to keep u safe on the roads.

Also other things like timing belt, tensioner and other sorts. But these may not be applicable to all. It depends on how well the owner takes care of his bike. FJR is a maintenance free bike with no hassle.. Its a damn good bike to keep.

To me, if the bike does not give out any abnormal sounds and doing well JUST LEAVE IT.. No point in doing these and that according to "advice" from people UNLESS u find something's not right with ur bike.

There are 2 things which i followed religiously.. Not skimp on changing the EO and shaft oil. And i changed the spark plugs and oil filter at every servicing. Some pple may say its a waste but i see it as keeping the baby fit and healthy.

U love ur bike, it will definitely love u back...

All these rebound, preload, compression on how to do it can be found in ur user manual(blue book)..

From there u set on how u want ur ride to be based on ur own weight and luggages.

When u service ur fork at a reliable workshop, e mech will set for u.. Best set it to e original setting then as u ride u can adjust it to ur preference coz it varies from 1 rider to another..

Wah... so rich. :)

I only spend $1.50 on accessories... a sticker. Hmmm.... on second thought, a sticker isn't an accessories... it's an ornament... haha... :cheeky:

My next ornament will be this:

Expensive sticker. A $72 sticker. :thumb:
