Hi folks, I'm looking for a replacement OEM exhaust for my FJR 2011 (dented the left endcan and its unsightly).

I'm sure many of you have upgraded your ride to a much cooler set :)

So if you're willing to let go of the old exhaust, please PM me.

Thanks in advance!

Urgent help needed.

On a gen 2, 2007 bike.

Anyone experienced rear brakes unable to retract when depress?

My mechanic suggested that it might link to an abs issue.

He said he could try replacing the rear brake cylinder, no guarantee it works.

If it doesn't works.. It means the abs pump is faulty but currently, no abs lights yet.

He service and lube the rear brake cylinder area and it doesn't have any issues now but I'm afraid of it recurring.. He suggested disabling the abs system and do a bypass, laying new brake lines to both the front and rear brake callipers direct, to totally resolve the issue..

Has Anyone has done this ?

Kind souls, please advise..

Many many thanks.

Now is OK, means working fine?

If this the case, he solved the problem, just the piston jam, after lube and service, piston smooth out... enjoy the ride.

one more reason to you cause might be bad venting, when heat up, brake fluid expanded and without proper venting, it jam the brake.

Please clean you reservoir cap/cover...both front and rear regularly.

The venting is very important.

Hope it helps

I am not so sure about ABS...

Heavy traffic is how good is your lane split skill.. once you get used to it, you will squeeze like a 2b bike.. FC is economical. Impressive for a 1300cc bike.. heat is normal for a class2 bike.. overall, its a beast

Was chatting with few kakis & naturally we talked abt bikes & how much we missed our older bikes. When it came to the topic on sports tourer & unsurprisingly we unanimously agree that FJR is still the all time no.1, as of 2016.

Is Gold wing ever classified as sports tourer??? No way it can kup corner, flick left right centre & lane split through our heave traffic like an agile FJR
