For your info,

 

FJR Bikes purchased from Hong Leong dealers are entitled to 50% subsidy(3NCR). Based on first come first serve.

The 3 NCR is on the 17th-19th Sept 2005. Some of us will be setting out on tentatively on Thursday 15th Sept 2005 @4am. We will be Heading out to Hatyai (01 nite), Phuket (01 nite) and head to Penang(1-2 nites 3NCR).

i still haven changed the parts yet micheal say the part dont have

 

.. i just dont know if it is really the part is causing this problem as i ride for a long distance den the engine will start the jerking and eventually the engine will die off..

hehe... ride is very enjoying... but since previous bike was supper 4, so gotta get use to the heavy weight and size... the size and weight give me problem on parking and squeezing through trafic... problem also when jaming at check point... ... others then that, very happy...

 

hhmm... i get what u mean by which year u ride.. i bought this bike with insurans @ 17795, milleage about 38,000km from TSP at defu lane.

 

the problem i found was this bike tend to move left when i hands off. is it normal?? from this thread, found that many got the same problem.

and then some times when i tried to start my bike, the trip meter and the clock just reset... is it because of my bat low? is it need to change to new one? how much for a new bat??

i found that my brake light not on when i press the front brake, but when press rear brake, the brake light is on... whats the problem, is it because of the switch, how much to change one??

Yes.

The manual says u can charge it.. But i just changed mine. A good battery will start the bike in 3-4 cranks. The next symptom u'll experience is prolong cranking. Maybe 7-8 cranks before the bike starts. That is it for me. I scared the next morning cannot start den i die. So its up to u...

I bot from auto at $160. HL $198.

Part no. is 5EA-82100-10 (5EA-82100-11 oso can.)

U can call auto for quote and check availability.

99% is the switch. U should hear a clicking sound when u press the brake lever, if not, means the spring inside the switch is out of place. The switch is located on the underside of the right handle bar area. U can see 2 wires connected to it. U can open up the switch box to put the spring back in place if u want.

Hey thong.... the bike will lean to the left due to the shaft but it shud be gradual.... mine veers sharply to the left... had the whole front assembly change by HL... i still feel itz not to 100% straight when compared to other FJRs... but teamlm tried it.. said itz okie... so.. tink maibe my posture to used to the slanted position... and also the tyres.... dats y i occasionalli still hv probz.... but my steering damping is still quite minimum compared to other FJRs... itz still doesn't have the correct amount of "controlled steering" i experienced when i tried other FJRs... dunoe how to explain to HL.... sigh.... im so sick n tired of going there yet the probz still not solved onli improved by abit...

 

but seems my last ST11 will lean abit to the right.. yet it will go straight... but FJR will lean left.. n gradualli veers left ... wonder wotz the probz... but it happenz to most FJRs.... so well.. u know the answer~

 

also ur battery needs changing definitely... This morning... just helped Terry push start his FJR... he left it at home for 3weeks... and this morning he never off his light switch while waiting for me... so best every year change one battery... but abit expensivE.... it will safe the hassle though... be proactive is best the best prevention....

 

Hey dean.. ur meter n timer reset before too right? better change the battery before u go for 3NCR... do all the necessary checks~

ashenz i scared mine will be like dat changed dat changed this and still the bike will have that jerking feeling.. in worried it will be the biggest problem..

hai ashenz i think i need to changed a lot of things eh like tyres ah coolant oso need to be drain... den the biggest problem is the jerking..

omnislash, for the front brake, i heard the switch click sound, but cant find the wire.. wonder is it the wire disconnected.. hehe..

thik u hv switch on 2 e running light aft lockin ur handlebar...

make sure ur key it turn to e LOCk position only n nt aft dat..

mayb dat y u r hvin a weak battery on ur bike..
